2021 M2 Comp Ordered

Wanted to get started in here by saying hello, and that I found an allocation (thanks to members here) to get a 2021 M2 Comp in LBB, 6 spd, Exec. package, and ill be doing the PCD when the car does get here. My build is set for week 20 currently, so now the wait begins.

Im coming from 3 previous Audis, last one being a 2018 Audi RS3 which i loved, but owned it for over 3 years so it was time for a change. I drove an f80 and f87 and loved the f87 as Im looking for a fun, driver focused weekend car, so here we are. Been doing tons of reading on here to decide on any future mods, so we'll see what happens.

Congrats on the allocation! I was also able to secure my car thanks to members of this forum; it's a great community. I'm still in status 111, and hoping for a late May or early July build. I'm also doing PCD, and very excited about it! I also signed up for the 1-day M drivers school in April to tie me over until the car gets here (and teach me how to drive this car spriritidly ppp safely).

This is a whole new world for me. My first performance car was a Ford Focus ST I bought in 2013. I currently drive a GTI (and a '02 Tacoma for inclement weather), and I absolutely love it, but I'm ready for something different. I think a 405 HP FE/RWD coupe is exactly what I need!

Excited for you! There's a few of us on here grabbing the final allocations that are doing PCD; it would be cool if some of us had PCD on the same day!

I actually got the allocation from you Phriz, i had a friend (Robopp) message you because my account hadn't been validated yet. Seems like our cars will be made very close to each other so the same PCD isnt out of the question.

But not having a car for the beginning of summer is going to be tough so i cant wait for it to get here.

Funny coincidence between you two. Looks like it was meant to be.

I ordered mine back in 2019 and didn't know my build date or anything about the tracking ability. In hindsight I'm kind of glad since I know I would have been neurotically monitoring it. The wait was difficult enough as it was. It will pass quicker than you think, and don't second guess anything. The car is a blast to drive every time you get behind the wheel!

Congrats to you both.

Oh right on man! The CA you dealt with is such a good guy. I hated to go with a different dealer for my car, but after 2 months with a deposit down I was getting super anxious about not having an allocation. And, as my luck would have it, the day after I took an allocation from a different dealer in AZ, Asheville BMW got the allocation. But I'm thankful for these forums, and the opportunity to return the favor to Jack and help get those allocations filled!

Keep me updated on your production status and PCD date. I live about 45 minutes from the PC in SC, so if you wanna hang out and drive that weekend outside of delivery day let me know! There's so many wonderful driving roads around here.

Jack told me your story, mine is very similar. In fact my deposit at my local dealer is going to likely my brother-in-law. He's looking for a 997 and figured this is a better deal.

Seven weeks. Expecting a June delivery. Will break it in on the drive back, drop it off for tint and clear bra in NJ, 1200 mile service at my local dealer. Slap on some track pads and flood and off to Watkins Glen.

If you're planning on replacing the spoiler, mirror caps, or front grill at any point, I would also recommend getting those installed prior to PPF.

Enjoy your trip!

Thats a good point, i'm not sure if ill wrap the whole car yet or not.

On another note, has anyone done port install of parts? If so, how does it work?

The port installed parts will be installed at the port, they will be included on the Monroney sticker, stock parts taken off are thrown away. They are included in the financing of the car if you are doing that.

I am in the week 20 build with FancyBear, Phriz and MC2-NLUSA. Hoping it gets built sooner. This is going to be a long wait.

Keep checking. I'm week 15 but it entered production yesterday. Another member told me that theirs was on the same status for a week, with a projected finish April 8. So I may be ahead of schedule, and you may be too.

Well hopefully as commented above, they will get built sooner. From what AJAXF1 said thats about 2 weeks early. Cool to see this many people scheduled for the same week too.

Mine was at “entered production” for 2 weeks, then the build began as scheduled in Week 11. On the boat now. Yay!

While I have much love for the Dutch and their wonderful culture, it is not based on the football team. It is simply a nickname, though I do know about the team a little. I am also a formula 1 fan so I combined the two.

Fair enough. As long as you're not a Max fan. That's one piece of Dutch culture you don't want to be a part of
