MPE is available thru dealers or other online retailers.

Part number for the muffler: 18302459928
Part number for the CF tips: 18302456072

The cheapest I could find online was from BMW of Morristown: $3390 for the muffler (link), and $1120 for the tips (link).

Thank you for the information! Now I'm just going to wait for someone to post a sound track comparison to Akropovic.

$4500 discounted, really? Oh brother. So ridiculous when even the Schnitzer alternative is half as much.

It's extremely overpriced unfortunately. I tried Remus Race with AA midpipe at a much lower price but it was just too loud. Still looking for something decent while being not too loud.

So it's going to sound just like m4 / m4cs?
And wondering Does an Akrapovic exhaust live up to its name/ reputation/ price tag if you have the money?
A Miltek sounds really good to me but have only herd 1 .

Not a single quality clip on the internet so far but I assume it would sound pretty similar to M3/M4 MPE. Never heard Akrapovic for M2C in person but wasn't a fan of it at all on the M3/M4. People say Akra for M2C sounds different/better but I'm holding my judgement till I hear one in person.

Kinda agree. So far I found this video clip as the best sounding M2C IMOP.

M2 Competition M Performance Exhaust (MPE) is coming for US and Canada in March 2019

I heard Cntzl's set up in real life, and IMO it sounds way too loud; while a lot of the S55 raspiness is gone, there's very little refinement in the sound.

The video clip is a bit misleading that way. But if you want a much louder, 'bigger', coarse sound with a deeper note, this might be for you.

I had this exact setup and I could stand it only for a week. I think it sounded pretty good for an S55 but it was way too loud for my taste. I watched the very same video before ordering and all I'm gonna say is the video doesn't capture how loud it is. I had an MPE on my M4 Comp and never thought it was too loud. In fact I was convinced I could tolerate little bit more volume. Well AA + Remus Race was a bit over my tolerance level. Here are some clips of my car from when it had that setup (again it was so much louder in person even when valves were closed):

Sounds like our tolerance level are very similar. I too don't like too loud exhaust sound but rather prefer a deep tone. Base M2 MPE is awesome but S55 can not achieve. I'm hoping M2C OEM MPE would come out better than M4C MPE at least.

Just look at the Remus race, some people say it's perfect then you have people saying it's way too loud... it's a crap shoot at best!

Remus Race by itself should be ok in terms of volume (i.e. not too loud). I paired it with a non-resonated AA midpipe which also deletes the secondary cats and it was too loud for me. However, as mentioned above, these things are all subjective. I'm sure for some people that combo would be the perfect sound. I just couldn't tolerate how loud it was

Any reason you didn't keep the Remus and revert the midpipe back to stock? Did you hear what it sounds like with just the Remus? I was thinking of getting just the Remus, but now I'm concerned it will be too loud even with everything else being stock.

I had a few reasons for going back to stock. Firstly, I live in CA and if I was in a different state (e.g. TX), I would totally keep the setup regardless of how loud it was because it sounded pretty good thanks to the AA midpipe but was just too loud. The exhaust law has slightly changed in CA recently and people with aftermarket exhausts are getting ticketed left and right at certain locations. After seeing an OG M2 owner got ticketed with just a port installed MPE, I decided not to risk it. So this was one reason... I also heard Remus Race paired with stock midpipe. It sounds pretty decent but not sure if I love the tone. Remus Race muffler is also kind of a joke IMO. This is not necessarily a bad thing for many people but let me explain. When the valves open it acts pretty much like a muffler bypass but in my case it was still pretty loud even when valves were closed because the "muffler" has minimal or no restrictions internally. Therefore, I hadn't noticed such a big difference in volume between valves open and closed.

If I were to do this all over again, I would go for the Remus Sport (instead of Race) paired with AA midpipe. Who knows, maybe it'll be the next move for me but due to the recent exhaust law changes, I'm leaning towards an OEM option such as MPE even though I might still get ticketed even with an overpriced MPE (but at least it'd be easier to fight against).

I am surprised someone hasn't put up a video of the M2C MPE yet - while I expect it to sound similar to the M3/4 versions, I am hopeful that it's even a little bit better.
