He was talking about bumper fender, not hood fender.

+1

That's the protective shipping wrap, not the paint color at a different angle.

There is no protective material or wrap on the bumper or the fender. It's only on the hood. As AlpsRider pointed out, I was referring to the bumper color vs the fender color.

Didn't notice that at first, but now see what you're referring to. I had settled on HS, but the difference between the front bumper and fender is really bad and making me rethink my color choice. I should just ask my dealer to pick for me. I'm tired of thinking about it, and don't get me started on MG not being offered.

The upper pic pretty much matches up, the lower pic with a different angle shows how the paint changes.

That's kind of what I am thinking too now - especially because the change doesn't seem to be as noticeable from a distance.

I see a huge color mismatch in both pics. I noticed this on other HS pics too but at the time several members said that it was due to those cars being pre-production. Unfortunately, I see the same thing on this production car. I will wait for more production HS pics to come out but looks like another tough color decision is waiting for me.

I know what you are talking about and maybe you are right but the difference in color between the bumper and the fender is pretty significant IMO even after factoring in the lighting, angle, plastic vs steel surface etc.

So that means that there must be an apparent loophole with the US spec hold up. Maybe due to the car being registered in Germany? I can't wait to see more pics!

Please do! Lets get the VIN, finally put an end to the bi-color vs black wheel debate.

Also HS is definitely not remotely white. After see if with white protective film on the hood.

Different M2c for comparison. Looks sick here IMO.

I agree with you that the HS color on the bumper looks different in these pics compared to the fender. When I saw the color in person the bumper and fender color looked the same but it was a cloudy day.
