Does HS look more white or silver? Sales said its kind of like a grey more than a silver. I don't want another silver car.

From the UK pricing information.

This for me is a harder decision than the actual car color. I am in love with LBB although HS in this thread looks awesome.

Order black finish but they look so good also in bicolor.

Although this picture itself seems to be overall very dark.

The black ones look the same color as the 763M wheels to me.

I can't decide whether to go with the original M2 wheels, or the new standard ones.

I don't really like how flat the face is of the new ones, but they're growing on me in these photos.

If you're unsure, go with the new ones - there will definitely be folks who have the 437s for sale (so you will be able to get some if you want them), and there will be other folks who will want the 788s for their OG M2 or other BMW (so you can get rid of the 788s if you don't like them in person).

Great looking car, flawless. Except the sagging muffler Maybe it will be less visible in real life, otherwise it should be painted black from factory.
Let's hope that the M performance exhaust will get EU approval again!

I am also curious to know if those are all-black wheels or bi-color, it's hard to tell due to light reflections

Showed my CA the pictures and he told me those are the bi-color wheels. Will switch to those to play it safe. Glad he is cool and puts up with my indecisiveness

That's a good point. Think I'll stick with the standard 'Comp' wheels.

A HS M2C was delivered to my dealer today and he sent me these shitty pictures. You can really see the difference in color with the protective wrap on the hood. I am trying to get him to send me more and also the vin number of the car. He did say the car will be delivered to the owner this week. I would drive there but it’s 4 hours away

I don't know how much of this is because of the angle but the bumper and fender colors look pretty bad IMO in terms of color matching.

I thought bmw only allowed deliveries to customers from 17th September only. Now I'm really confused

Don’t mean to confuse anyone. I am a soldier stationed in Germany. As far as we are tracking here, we are getting our cars as they come in. My order Is scheduled for week 33. Delivery is also faster because it just gets shipped from Leipzig straight to the dealer.

My M235i is MW and its paint views the same way. The color on the fender and bumper are likely the same. With that type of color the angle changes the color perception a lot, so a different panel gives a slightly different angle. If you were there and you could move back and forth you would see the colors change.

If that's the case, I might have to reconsider my color choice yet again. The color of bumper and fenders match perfectly on my Sakhir Orange regardless of the angle. I believe you but this almost look like a very bad paint job to me. Not a huge fan of this type of color changes...

If you find a MW BMW, in the sun you can reproduce the effect. I switched my order to LBB yesterday. My MW/Coral red combo M235 is beautiful. The red interior gives the car that extra pop. I don't care if LBB is the OG M2 launch color or that it might be a bit "look at me". I think it is gorgeous with Black wheels. I'll add carbon fiber bits to it, talk about WOW.

So do you get a German spec car or American spec? Assuming you would keep it coming back to the States or is that not an issue??

I wonder if the effect is exacerbated by any materials places on the car for transport to the dealer? I can see what you're talking about in the two "shitty" photos but I don't see the same effect in the photos at the top of the page...

+1

That’s the protective shipping wrap, not the paint color at a different angle.
