"I agree with others that black wheels on black cars look bad. There needs to be some contrast. In fact, I only like black wheels on white cars (HS would work too, since it's basically a pearl white). I just put a set of Anthracite Apex wheels on my 135 and that is about as dark as I think works on a black car. I'm leaning 788 with the machined face (my color choice will be BSM if they don't bring back MGM by the time I buy next year), but 437 is an option too. I haven't seen them live on BSM, but they looked great on MGM. I LOVE the 763's, but they need to be grey and are only offered in black or gold. Nothing an orbit grey paint job won't cure though..." What in that post makes it sound like a statement of "fact"?

We too wish BMW would provide a real red and one that isn't metallic too...such as Imola, Electric (Japanrot), Hellrot, whatever, just one of these!
So we're stuck with Sunset Orange. I suppose that mantra of "build it and they will come anyway" worked on us. Sigh. Here's Imola next to Electric:

I wouldn't put it past him. I doubt that a 25% tariff on car imports would get passed though. Can you imagine what it would do to the economy in Germany/Europe? I think it is more likely a bluff being used as a negotiating tool, but then ya never know...

BMW UK site has now taken off the M2 altogether from the configurator...
Hopefully this means that the M2C configurator will be up tomorrow! This just after the ordering process going live yesterday across all BMW UK dealers |

Hi Folks
I'm thinking of getting an M2C. I have Porsche macan turbo with all the goodies which is my daily for last 2 years. I enjoy and have no intention to sell it. I never owned an M car before. Had F10 550 and E70 before. F10 was good but not really a fun to drive. So the input I want from the guys who owned M vehicles is #1 Can M2 C be a daily, drive about 40-50 miles a day for work. #2 How much of different fun factor it will have or I will end up having two cars in the roughly same category. I was actually looking for a S5 or 435 convertibles to add as an additional car but for some reason my mind got stuck at M2C. It's just so crazy. Thanks for your input. |
