While Valencia orange is a great color.. it was only a launch color. Nothing special at all.
Alas, alike LBB it also became the color most chosen by dealers and perhaps buyers... so .. to be honest .. it was easy to go with BSM.
I NEARLY purchased an X1 in Valencia orange about two years ago but i ended up with a black one so I have two cars that are BSM.

To me it looks like a dull rusty colour, I would say this is my least favourite Colour in the all the M2 colours.

More and more I see and here about the new M2C the more I smile and glad I have my LCI

I was offered the last LCI allocation by two different dealers in my area. I almost bit. Luckily I held out.

More and more I see here and all the superior mechanical changes to the M2C the more I smile and glad I waited.

You hit it on the head, mechanically it is better as you can tune the engine and get a lot more power for the track and to say I have more power.
I'm happy with the n55 power As I won't ever track the car and I live in the city. The original M2. Looks better and sound amazing with the MPE. My dealer told me the other day they sold 2 lci as it had a short life, so the car will be more rare.

You should enjoy your glorious sounding LCI 2 years and then switch to hardcore M2C, isnt that obvious ?

You are singling out the engine as the only change. Even then it isn't just about a power upgrade. The engine does have numerous mechanical advantages and driving characteristics that many do enjoy. There are a host of other mechanical changes to the M2C as well...chassis stiffening via carbon strutbrace and bulkhead bracing, retuning of the electric steering, returning of stability control, shock/damper retuning, change from air-to-air front mount to air-to-water top mount, new ball joint suspension, M1/M2 buttions, Brake upgrade, etc. But I agree, if you like your car...why change? Keep driving and don't even think about the M2C.

I stopped by my local dealer today to look at a few cars in sunset orange. It was overcast at first, but luckily got some sunshine for a few minutes.

Having a Valencia Orange 1M, I can say this isn't anywhere near the same color. The sunset orange doesn't pop like VO.
