The color is obviously Hockenheim Silver, look at the shark fin on the roof and how it drastically changes color depending on the angle and lighting.

HS is interesting because depending on the lighting it can look silver, white, or grey.

Have we determined if these are the same calipers as the same as the M5(F10?) or carbon ceramics with steels?

It sure does look like the M5 steel brake calipers, but in silver. That is a lot of brake for such a little car.

Just personal preference I guess, but I think it's easily the best grey out of all the grey of this newest generation of cars. Plus, I have this very fond memory of my visit to Japan once. Saw a Mineral Grey M3 with CF touches and some muted yellow edge wrap (like the orange touches on the GTS) and my god it looked so good

Interesting, you have a Chalk GT4 on order, which honestly is not that far from HKS... Except HKS is a lot more interesting...

Yeah 18s dont look like they will fit with those massive calipers.

Well, I would have preferred MG as well, or really any medium to dark grey. I also love the Sterling Grey on my M5 and the Silver Grey on my M coupe. So, it looks like it will be HS for me as well. I do like the way it changes with different lighting conditions.

The new wheels are growing on me as well, as the 666s did.

I actually like how the HS changes colors. It makes it look quite interesting because you never know what it is going to look like. I image a cloud momentarily blocking the sun will change the color of the car.

Yeah, MG is a bit too dark actually, for me, except in bright sunlight. The best BMW grey was Steel Grey Metallic from the E46 M3 I think in terms of balance. My neighbor has a mint one and it's the perfect grey to bring out the lines of a car.

I don't know about HS though. I would have liked something akin to Porsche Chalk/Crayon. Which this might sort of be, but it doesn't look it, although it changes in every pic.

Actually, it would have been nice to get a real color. I saw Sunset Orange in Spartanburg and it's not a sporty color at all in my opinion. Way too much brown / tarnished copper.

Is there pollen or dust all over this car? If you look closely it's not just metallic flake I think. It's on the badge and glass also.

Indeed it is going to be! Very excited to have first allocation slot secured at my dealership!

Maybe I'll have to see it in person, but the photos I have seen so far aren't doing it for me
