I am pretty sure that is not normal. I think some PCD cars used to be dropped off in Brunswick, GA in addition to Charleston but I thought recently all PCD cars are supposed to be dropped off in Charleston only.

Bazgab That's what I figured... Performance Center confirmed my date though so I guess someone will have to pitch in to flatbed it back to SC...

When getting PCD what is exactly paid for by BMW?
Airplane ticket? Hotel night(s)? Meal(s)? I remember seeing this in another thread, but hopefully one of you can answer it and have it in this thread. |

Lunch is included at the performance center. Also BMW bottled water fresh from Germany =D makes you a better driver. Honestly worth the experience. Push the cars hard out the gate if you get to drive the road course in the morning session. It goes fast

Received approval for PCD today, no date yet though. Production is still a month out so I'm assuming they will provide a date hopefully by the end of the month.

Mid June (week 23) build and strongly considering PCD...just hit up my sales guy today who isn't giving me grief so I think it's a go. I'm assuming you get to pick a date within a few +- a week of delivery at least? Then firm up once it's on the boat?

No. The performance center will give you a date, you can accept that or request a different date. For me, I requested PCD when I ordered the car. Within 2 days, they gave me a date (well ahead of when the car was produced) and I accepted. Once you accept a date, they recommend not finalizing any travel plans until 3 weeks before your date, just in case.

I'm week 23, my car has started production, and I still have yet to get a date for PCD. Called Genius and the guy told me that they don't give a date until the car has reached its destination port, which I'm now guessing is not correct. Ill probably call again today to see what the deal is.

My CA called me with a PCD date when my car was in Production. I accepted it. Then the PCD sent me an email with the details. Car is on a boat and PCD is end of June.

What was your build week? My SA got in touch with PCD peeps today and is supposed to provide more details soon. PCD seems like a no brainer...only thing better is Euro delivery maybe.

I was a week 20 that got bumped to week 18. Finished on May 3. I apologize ... I misspoke.....the CA did not call me when the car was in production, he called me before it started to build. I just checked my phone and the CA called me on 4/6/17 with the end of June PCD date.

Turns out the PCD center had my email wrong so I had a confirmed date awhile ago. Met with the dealer yesterday, signed all the paperwork, and my new CA (old one quit) called the PCD center to get my date moved up to 7/28! Could have taken delivery a as early as 7/24 but scheduling everything for a Friday works better. Now I just need to plan my route back to Charlottesville, VA to avoid interstates. Anyone else going to be there on 7/28??
