18 M2 Black - Looking for black front lip
Looking for a front lip, not carbon fibre, in black or that can be painted. Any recommendations or links appreciated.
Also is the 18 front slightly different, many of the searches I have done say 16/17 are not compatible. thanks |

I know I've seen them around when doing a search for a splitter for my LCI. I don't have time to search right now, but there are forum threads already going that may offer some options. There aren't a ton of companies making front splitters for the M2. But there are definitely some available. Also, eBay may be your best bet for a plain black or unpainted one.
As to the fitment, I believe that is an m2 vs m2C thing. Edit: wanted to mention, in doing you searches, don't use the forum search feature. Go directly to Google. Enter your search words and always add "bmw m2" to the end. You'll pull up both forum threads and vendors.

I also have the lightweight lip. It's ironic because it's not light at all, weighing around 5 lbs. That said, I think it's looks great for those who don't want easily-ruined CF on the front lip. FYI, install was kind of a pain in the ass, and I had experts doing it.

That's way more subtle than the RKP. Do you have any pictures in better lighting from the front and from the side.

Yeah that's pretty subtle I think that's what I'm looking for.
If you don't mind how much do those cost? Uninstalled of course.[/QUOTE] ______ $500 for the lip, but they charge ~$125 for shipping in the U.S., so I bought mine during a sale that offered free shipping. If I remember correctly I waited a couple weeks for it to ship. |

EAS covered shipping to my US postal outlet. I paid $499 US. It's scarier looking in CDN.
It reminds me of the R package front lip I have on my NA Miata. Subtle, and durable. I am thinking about a carbon fibre wrap to balance out the carbon fibre lip on the trunk that the previous owner installed. |

To owners of the Lightweight lip.. can you elaborate on the install being a “PITA” as described by a few... what exactly was the issue?
Also, have you experienced many issues with scraping (I’m assuming you daily your cars?).. Thx |
