The actual production of these cars is very fast, 24-36 hours total.

Ordered placed with the dealership on November 27
Emailed on Dec 8 stating production would begin in ~3 weeks
Left Bremerhaven on January 18
Arrived in Baltimore on January 29

I've yet to take delivery, assumimg the snow storms on the east coast have slowed things down a bit as well. I've another month or so of wintery weather, so the later, the better.

MyBMW status has been waiting on a carrier for 10 days. Is that reasonable or is the status just old? Looking at other posts it seems like too long to really wait for a truck to transport to the port.

It's annoying, but not that strange.

I am on west coast so the boat ride was the longest part.

Mine sat in that state for 3 weeks before being assigned and going for its boat ride.

Thanks- seemed like there might be an issue based on other folks timelines. Sold my Porsche in early December and I’m so ready to leave the truck in the garage when the snow melts and drive the M2. It’s finally predicted to be above 50 Monday - so it’s time

Stuck at PRODUCTION BEGINS Today's the day:...

...your BMW has entered the production queue.
Been about 1 month since I ordered the car. I wonder when it will start.

I think mine must be sitting right next to yours. If I look at one more photo on here my head is going to explode.

Ah, memories...soon you will be tracking the where in the big buddle the ship carrying your car is and wondering why ships are still so slow...

Congrats! Mine was built this week too and is now "Dispatched From Factory". I guess it's on it's on its way to Bremerhaven. I would imagine these are amongst the last several hundred that they will ever build.

I ordered HS, MT6, silver wheels, blue stitching/carbon fiber, executive package and moonroof. How about you?

Man I'm jealous. I placed my order on February 1st and have yet to receive an update. Contacted my salesperson this week and they said it's yet to enter 112 status. Hoping for some good news shortly!

Congrats as well!
Mine is black, orange stitching, MT6, carbon fiber, exec package, black wheels and moonroof.
I got an M-Performance rear spoiler and front splitter waiting at the dealer for them to install when it comes in.

Now I just need to get my 04 E46 m3 ready to be sold

Awesomeness, that’s going to look amazing!

It was really hard to choose a color, I think all 5 of them look great in different ways.

The MT was a no brainer, I have never owned a car that didn’t have a clutch.
The one option I was on the fence about was the moonroof. I don’t currently plan to track the car and really see it as more of a sporty daily driver so I think the moonroof was an appropriate choice.

My car will be heading straight to the shop for PPF, tint and ceramic. My nephew works in the business and is really talented. Plus I’m getting an amazing deal on it.
