The method of mounting to the floor makes a difference.

Floor brackets like like Planted SB141DR have mounting tabs that elevate the base somewhat.

Whereas flat brackets such as Macht Schnell (and others) are flat on the floor and therefore lower.

Those parts are optional if you do not want to disturb the factory seats wiring harness.

You can transfer the original seat belt latches and bolt them to the Planted seat frame, minimal work.

Oh, be careful buying used pretensioners. Here's a used set I purchased for $100. I found out they are blown.

How do these Recaros compare to the OEM M2C seats position wise? Just judging by pics of them side by side they look very similar but I know that probably isn't the case.

I've played with my seating position a thousands different ways and just cant find that sweet spot.
