So this will still be visible when standing behind the vehicle, just like the original exhaust?

So, the only real benefit is that it's lighter and *presumably* sounds better?

Will the existing CF exhaust tips work with it? It looks like that part number is for the F90 M5 CF tips.

I'm not very optimistic about pricing unfortunately given the sticker on M3/M4 MPE. Nothing released in terms of pricing yet but my guess $4K for the exhaust plus the cost of the tips. However, M performance parts have huge margins and invoice is usually around 20-25%. If I can get it at or below invoice I might consider pairing with AA midpipe.

Yes, it shares the same CF tips from F90 M5 MPE.

Color me interested!

Couple observations - there's actually more piping that goes back, and is not 100% muffler, like some of the earlier posts referenced. This is similar to the Akra slip-on.

- the M Performance logo is not blue, thank god!

- while the muffler is still pretty bulky, it's also much narrower than the stock muffler. It also has a much smoother, more svelte finish vs. the stock cow udder, I mean muffler.

But pricing and actual sound will be the ultimate decision points.

As far as pricing, the Akra slip-on is about $4.9k including tips and is full Ti. I bet the MPE will come in around $4k with tips (give or take).

Good to see they're making a system for the M2C. Hopefully it'll sound good along with the weight savings.

Why not pick up a used OG MPE? I've seen folks selling them for $1500 with carbon tips.

Doesn't fit. OG MPE is a single path exhaust while M2C is a dual path exhaust.
OG MPE was designed for N55, not S55.

Isn't the dual mid pipe the cause of poor sound? Isn't that why people are paying top dollar for AWE mid pipe?

Anyhow, just the muffler should fit. Any decent muffler shop should be able to retrofit to stock M2C.

I got the MPE for my F80 and it was worth every penny. Allot of pennies though, but worth it by sound and looks alone.

I got you

Also same idea as me with the AA Midpipe but I'm also leaning towards Eissenmann Full Race system in black with CF tips as that's about 4700!!

It seem's BMW just want's to see something hanging down back there, no matter what...

I am really wondering why that is?

I mean you could get it working. But you'll need to compress 2 2.5" pipes to a single 2.5" pipe for the exhaust out, which most likely isn't optimal for air flow.

The AWE Midpipe goes from 2 2.5" midpipe to 1 3.5" midpipe.
That's 9.8 inch sq to 9.6 inch sq for the exhaust exit so it's not too bad compared to 9.8 inch sq to 4.9 inch sq if you want to weld the N55 MPE to the dual mid pipe.

One thing's for sure--it will be very emotional.

Thanks for posting. I actually saw one on a regular M2 earlier today, and while it does still hang down, it looks much much better than the stock udder. Looking forward to hearing it on an M2C sometime.
