Android i'll have to agree with you they are almost always a**holes in PA, my friend and I were gearing up to have the car impounded and i was ready to be cuffed. Cop was super cool and before he let me go says "I know it's a fast car, keep it on the track" I died haha. Everyone said you should have kept going but i didn't know the roads and glad i didn't, zero exits for next like 20 miles lol, and few hundred in fines and some points is better then a felony.

actually, perhaps some share my thoughts that it's a little sad that this teenager is learning that society cracks down hard on 'speeding'

He has to instead switch to society's approved activities, like smoking dope and drinking

they may approve of those activities but not while driving putting others at risk... "we" approve of high speed but on a track or closed course and after proper driver education with tech inspections.

Androidrobot, your suggestion that they outrun the police is ridiculous, and at what risk? The police get on the radio and tell there partners that an a**h*l* is on his way. License plate and description of the vehicle. Doing 158 mph on the highway is stupid and you should be locked up and license thrown in the incinerator. I don't give a s**t what happens to any driver doing that speed on an public road, what I care about are the innocent people just going on there merry way when a lunatic slams into them. For the poster going 168 miles an hour to PSU, the police are the as*hol**, really?

Ya wonder what actually happened to him. And agree that was pretty dumb. I've done over 100 too many times to count but the fastest was in my C55. 135mph on I95 at night (little to no traffic) in one of the Carolinas. Cop was sitting in the trees in the media. But made the mistake of turning on his lights right away which caused me to find the next exit and get off. Never saw him again. But advantage of being at night. No radio is gonna call that in unless they have multiples set up down the hwy in speed traps which at night is usually unlikely.
