I will probably never know the value, because I want to keep my lovely manual MG M2 forever...

After two years the love is still very strong

Ditto, bought a CPO Pre-LCI LBB M2 and I could care less about it's future value. I'm going to drive this thing until the bitter end. Then I'll take the N55 out of my 535 and keep going.

I bought my car for the experience, not for future monetary gain.

The M2/CS will be better than both of them, just ENJOY whatever car you have. There will always be something better and newer on the market, just how the auto business operates.

On public roadways and back roads, where most of us drive our cars, the difference between the OG M2 and the M2c are practically unnoticeable. I'm willing to bet no one on here is a good enough driver to run their car at even 9/10ths on the track, let alone on the street (nevermind how ridiculously stupid and unsafe that would be). The vast majority of us do a few 0-60 red light pulls and a little spirited driving on back roads...none of the advantages the M2c offers over the OG M2 are going to be realized under those circumstances. Enjoy whichever version you have and know that unless you duel it out on track, you arent going to notice any difference in "the wild".
This man speaks the truth.

and yet there is a 3 page discussion in M2C section about STOCK suspension part differences between M2 and M2C. and there is a guy (CosmosMpower) who's flexing 80MPH to whatever speed time of M2C. Pathetic if you ask me.

Hate to rain on the parade but in 10 years both are going to be lucky to bring $20k and 20 year models will be lucky to bring $10k, if you actually drive the cars. If you keep them in your living room and in 10 years have less than 10k miles, they may bring $30k. Go out there and look at similar vehicles from 2009 and see what they bring today.

Yep...my thoughts exactly...and perfect for me...never bought a M2 for the future value anyway.

And the majority of M2 owners will not own them in 10 years anyway. Even when I think to myself... This is a car I'll hold onto for a while, 2 years pass and I start getting the bug. Never fails!

Unless I buy a GT4 / GT3... I don’t see me ever selling my M2. Maybe it will not stay my daily car, but then I will make a real track weapon of it and keep it 😬
