All this talk about the M2C being fat and not as agile as the OG M2, then you hear about the M2 CS coming out. My dealer just called me up about an M3 CS, which made me question trading in my M2 and foregoing my M2C order, so I just picked up what I really wanted instead and I'm simply keeping my bad ass little M2 as a DD. Enjoy...2018 991.2 Manual

Yeah....the mark up sucks but after being on the list for three years and the risk of no manual gt3 in the future, I had to bite the bullet. I paid $195k, sticker was $185k and I have a 6 year warranty.

About $10k, which wasn't bad considering that most dealers want $20-$30k.

Agreed that's not too bad of an adjustment. Picking your ride must be a hell of a choice haha

I bought the M2 as my club sport car (street and track). I do about 10 events/year and safety has become the primary concern with reliability a close second. M2 is bulletproof, affordable, and a great platform. So, did my car like I wish BMW offered. Would love a 991.2

So this happened.....

Initial impressions.

1. Brakes look amazing. I hope they perform as good as they look.

2. Seats are far more comfortable. Not that I had an issue the the OG seats.

3. I miss my MP exhaust. This thing is really quiet. No burbles in a Competition M? I need a tune stat.

4. The factory installed the rear competition badge crooked. OCD in full effect. Dealer ordered new badge.

5. Front feels much sharper and responsive.

6. Small interior touches are nice.
