During ED I curbed my passenger side rear tire twice in narrow parking garages in Verona and Zurich. The car just arrived at the dealer yesterday and the damage is still there. Not too big a deal, it's not very noticeable.

Have a small rash on my right front...I thought these wheels were hard to repair due to the smoked clear coat?

I finally picked him up at the dealership on Friday! So happy to finally have my car. Battle scars still present in all their glory.

I curbed a 666 rim on my previous M3, which also has a machined front. After the repair, it looked perfect. They sand it down and polish it, so if you look REALLY close at the right angle you can tell it was fixed. But even a foot away it looks new.
Just finished my ED - I too considered TRACKWRAP, but decided against it after hearing about how nice the highways are in Germany. Unfortunately ended up with 8-10 pretty small rock chips - all but one on the front bumper, but one on passenger fender. I believe most of them were from running with a Pagani Huayra Roadster through the Swiss Alps, so I suppose it makes for a good, one of a kind story...

Nothing a little Dr. Colorchip, followed by full frontal PPF can't hide/fix/prevent further, right?
