You have to approach this for its comedic value. It makes it a lot more palatable (dare I say enjoyable?), and allows you to appreciate it on a level other than its content.

A lot like listening to politicians.

It's an insult to the customers. These people put no effort into actually knowing what they are selling. Especially with the CS. Being corny is one thing, but flat out false info is inexcusable. Imagine being that bad at your job.
