Carbon interior trim

Fitted some extra dry carbon trim to my M2c, purchased from Faserschmiede Germany - https://faserschmiede.de/kategorie/bmw/page/2/

Perfect match to the original trim, plus they use the OEM trims as the base for the dry carbon parts

Delivery was 10-11 days to the UK from day of order

I also did their radio surround. Was going to do their air vent surrounds but they were sold out last I checked.

Same! I wanted their vent surrounds to complete my interior and they said they are not producing them anymore

Did it matter which option you chose? Their site shows two options; "default" and with "electrically foldable mirror" but the description also says "electrically foldable mirror, standard" so I'm a little unsure.

OOOOH I really like this. I genuinely loathe the crappy shiny black plastic that scratches if I look at it wrong. I might do this.

You should go for it, I did the radio surround too and it is 100% worth the upgrade, WAY better looking!

I really like the dry carbon steering trim with the ///M logo. The M Performance logo really cheapens it.

I tried to add it to cart on the website, but says it's unavailable. Any solution to this?

Also, I had to translate everything so I'm not really sure whether "Struktur Carbon" is the dry carbon option for the wheel trim.

Personally speaking, I like a little balance. I don't think all carbon everything would look as nice as a few bits here and there. But hey, that's just me.

That looks really good on the door bits. The plastic they put in there is cheap looking. Very nice work!!

How hard was to install the door inlays?

They do two types of driver trim, one with an extra hole for the mirror switch and one without (standard) - I purchased the "electrically foldable mirror" version

I tried to remove the original trims without damaging them, so was a little awkward.
My advice is to look at the new trims and you will see that the front clip needs to be pressed towards the rear of the car to lift the front edge, I used a thin long screwdriver.

There is no difference between RHD and LHD, as they are the same outer shape
