Placed order for '21

I just placed my order for a '21. There are no current rebates or specials so I had to work my ass off just to get 2.7% off the $61,645 MSRP. It's due in 8-10 weeks according to the SA.

Pretty basic spec. BSM, orange stitching, carbon fiber interior, 6-spd manual, exec. package, slick top, two-tone wheels. I'll finance about $40k and was quoted 2.9% using BMW financing.

Now the wait...

Good to hear people are still ordering manuals!

They sure are a dying here in Australia. I just checked the main used car classifieds here in Australia. Out of 68 M2s (both M2Cs and OG) on the market, only 11 are manual.

Same spec as mine except I have blue stitching which I think paired a little better with BSM.

Sucks that there are no incentives on the '21 and it's difficult to find that car in a manual in a '20 on a dealer lot (I know- I searched half the country to compare my ED car price).
There was a '20 of that same spec including orange stitching in BMW of Bel Air MD that was a really good price. You could get 0.9% financing on that if they still have it. The '21 is the same except you get Android Auto if you need that.

Yeah I saw that and tried to deal. I couldn't do any better on the price and after adding shipping, it was more than the '21. I should be able to do better than the 2.9% at my wife's credit union. Things might change in 2 months.

Congrats! Orange stitching FTW! I also ordered a 21 with carbon fiber interior, 6-spd manual, and exec.

I was set on blue stitching at first, until I saw it in person. It reminded me too much of STi seats, which I didn't like. The orange will age better IMO. Many limited edition BMW models (1M, GTS, M2 CS) came with orange/reddish-like stitching, which looks spectacular and contrasts nicely against black seats and alcantara trim.

Agreed! I remember seeing an e39 M black exterior with the two-tone black/fox red interior Wish they still had that combo on the menu. I’ve been chasing that look for in my head for a decade.

My CA has 4 2021 M2 Comp Allocations

My CA has 4 available with production numbers that can still be modified. Mine is already on a vessel on its way to Charleston for PCD. Send me a message if you're ready to buy and wish to contact my CA.

I'm happy to put you in touch with her. Please send me a message. She helped me and at least 4 others from this group already. A couple of us have our vehicles on a vessel now.

I'm pretty sure you don't get Android Auto on a '21 M2C. Android Auto is on iDrive 7.0, and M2C is iDrive 6.0.

Isn’t 7 the one that eventually will charge a SaaS model for options??

AFAIK that's only a rumor at this point and wouldn't be released for quite some time. iDrive 7.0 is what you have in the G20 *right now*, for example.
