Cool video. Thanks for sharing.
From the context, it sounded like they were saying that because the M2 CS is available with a manual gearbox. As for the DRLs, mine are always yellow when driving. I wonder why Canadian spec cars are different.

Not every reviewer agrees with this, as Matt from Carwow said he'd rather have an M5 CS than a M550i + M2 CS for the same price.
The M5 CS is insanely good i'm sure, i guess its just in some ways it might less daily drivable than an M2 CS if you find the carbon seats too uncomfortable. Last edited by ScullyD; 09-13-2021 at 03:18 PM.. |

To clarify it was just a light hearted post. I was only posting it because it's cool to see the greatness of the M2 CS sticking around in the reviewer's mind, and it's also fun to watch a video about the bigger brother M5 CS.

The M5 CS seems a stunning car. It will most likely go down as a great end to the ICE V8 era for M.

I still don't understand why they don't differentiate the M5 from the standard 5 series like they do with the M3 vs general 3 series. Put the M3/M2 wheel arch flares on the M5 and they would instantly double sales. I would likely have an M5CS in my garage today if it was a wide body.

If there's one thing we now can say for sure is that the CS models might not seem like much on paper, but they really do push the game along. It'll be interesting to see what they do with the G80/2 CS!

The m5 cs looks amazing, it does not need arch flares or any other tricks. The 2 best cars in bmw line up, m2 and m5. This CS looks amazing, that green with the gold grill and rims and the back seats, super cool. Definitely the best m5 since the e39
