Correct on BMW NW. No mention of any pricing changes. I'll keep this updated as I hear more to help everyone.

Nice! Does this mean actual allocations are released or imminent? Thanks!

According to my SA, imminent... His estimate was within next 2 weeks.

I just spoke with my SA as well. He had previously said my order was continually kicked out of the order bank a few days after submission due to my desire to do EU delivery. Apparently the corporate rep he spoke to yesterday said point blank BMW will NOT be offering EU delivery on the 2020 M2C. This would be extremely disappointing.

Has anyone heard information to confirm on contradict this claim?

I guess I will get a call in the next day or so letting me know whether my order got kicked out again...

That would be very disappointing... One of the huge factors for me to get a new M2C is the ED experience. If that isn't going to happen then I'm gonna be looking at used M2s...

That would be devastating for me as well if true.

However, I'm planning ED for June and SA says car went into order bank as of just over a week ago. Just waiting for allocation and updated pricing in order to make it official.

So someone's SA is wrong or at least uninformed. I really don't think your SA's information seems right... that's a big corporate policy change on something that has a lot of history behind it. Perspective - when Audi changed their ED policy last year they telegraphed a full year in advance, and they never seemed to have the same commitment to ED as a concept that BMW has.

I would look for another SA.

I have been working with this guy since May of last year trying to plan this EU car. He has put up with a lot of my questions and genuinely seems like he is is into BMW and supporting my goals. However, you may be right as I have no loyalty to him if he cannot sell me what I want.

If you or anyone else can recommend a SA that would be willing to work with me, they would have an almost guaranteed sale.

You need a new SA. What is this "order bank" he speaks of? AFAIK, without an allocation, there is no "order". And there is no ED without an allocation and production number.

I had a dealer tell me this when i purchased my first F80. Turned out not to be true.

Guys, just take this car if you get a chance.

Don't mess with the ordering process. This car is too good to let it go.

My 'order' sat in the 'order bank' for about a month until the dealership got an allocation and eventually a production number.

I am staring at an email from the BMWEuropeanDelivery email address, sent TODAY 01/31/2019 that was sent to my dealer and it states
"We are still waiting for the pricing and ordering guides to be released. Once that happens, we will have a better idea for when that model will be available. Should be in about a week or so."

So your dealer is full of you know what.

Exactly, dealers don't like to do ED on popular models because they can make more money selling them off the lot. I was informed by one dealer that the M2C allocations that they had couldn't be used for ED, which is bull. I called BMW and showed the dealer the proof of their lies. They eventually sold me an ED car with the 5% discount. I picked up my M2C ED in September.

Welp. This is a great feeling...

Thank you for the info. Thankfully, I have something else in the works as well. We will see if that pans out.

Would you be willing to let us know when you hear more so I can pull a similar tactic to Alpsrider, if need be?

I'll bet the "order bank" is no more than a waiting list at that individual dealer. There is no BMW NA or AG "order bank" as others have indicated as well.

Got my order filled with a production # from a local dealership. They received 2 allocations, and while I was #4 on their waitlist a few backed out ahead of me. Looks like a week 10 build and an April/May delivery. It'll be a MY2020, but pricing has not been released just yet. I'm actually having my CA delay delivery a bit to early June for some personal reasons - I know, actually putting off delivery! My CA didn't want to risk waiting several months for a later allocation, so was appreciate of him holding the car. Overall options and packages appear to be the same though. Let the wait begin!

Bicolor 788M wheels
Executive Pack
No sunroof

Similar to several others, I'm replacing a non-zcp MY16 F80 6mt. Very excited for the familiarity, yet different iteration of the F8x and S55!

SAs are often stupid and don't know anything at all. I had one that was telling me false information to my face while I knew it was wrong.

Find a different one.

rehashing,

ED deals are out there albeit harder to find, be willing to travel or if you live close to Spartanburg SC then do PCD by ordering any car from any dealership in the US. Dealer loses back-end incentive on ED, could be as high as 5% (for high rated dealer) at least 2.5% (low rated dealer) so customer has to make up some of that somehow (either higher financing, add on, dealer doc fee, lower trade in etc etc etc)

For non-ED, try bigger dealers, they usually has better chance getting allocation, and get ready to put deposit to show you are serious about it (BMWNA gives priority on customer order car)

My 2020 allocation was approved yesterday status 111 (order accepted by BMW AG), this is after I cancelled my 2019 (for late Jan build cause why order 1 yr old car). Just to show deal with good dealers, BMWNA gives more allocation to highly rated dealership.
