Track wrap for ED?
Does anyone know if any sort of temporary paint protection or track wrap can be used for the two weeks of euro delivery? I've looked up a few things but its not clear if it may leave a residue, since they are often just meant for a day or two, rather than two weeks under any imaginable condition. I plan on getting a full permanent wrap once I get it home to Canada.
If so are there any brands you would recommend and had good results with? |

No leftover residue. It was on the car for 12 days. Removed it in front of the Hilton Munich Airport before drop off, which was directly across the street. You will hear the film releasing from the body of the car. Sounds like tape removal. There are instructions on how to remove it.

I bought a role of Trakktape along for my ED, but ultimately did not use it in Germany as the roads are so well maintained. I had no chips after 10 days and almost 700 miles. I did use it to drive from the dealer to my home (across multiple states) after it was redelivered and for the same purpose on my M2C until I had PPF installed. I only bought the narrow role, and if you don't install it well the seams will lift at highway speeds. In this regard it is trickier to install than your standard blue painter's tape, but of course provides better protection.
