Current Finance Rates

Does anyone know what the current finance rates are? I'm in the US, I have a credit score above 800, so I should qualify for the highest tier (best) pricing. I know late last year BMWFS was doing 2.89%

Thanks in advance!

It depends by the region. In some parts of US you can get 2.89 in some not. Check your zip on BMW financial. Also check your local Credit Unions

Do you know if that region is based on dealer zip code or home zip code?

if your going to finance and not lease...credit unions will be the cheapest.

Last year I was able to get 2.9% through Bmw finance.
This year my dealer in my region (NY) was giving me 4.5% but Im going with a credit union, they are offering me 2.75%.

Hmm, my dealer just quoted me 3.99/4.99 on 60/72 months for my upcoming 2020 MY. Wondering if that's right. The BMW USA website does stipulate 2.89% for 2018 M2's...

Thanks - good to know. He also mentioned it's still early on rates and specials for MY2020, since they've yet to hit the states.

Either way, I may check out other credit unions.

Yeah
My SA said if new rate comes out, I can switch to that. I decided to go with BMW.

Are their 72 mo. rates usually 1% higher? So assuming a 2.89% 60 month rate, would their 72 mo. rate be 3.89%?

Thanks!

I was able to get 2.99% for 60 months, I just asked my SA and told him that's what was advertised (on their website and by BMW Financial, actually in other regions) and he honored it. He's been super pleasant to work with, then again I've agreed to all of their terms to pay MSRP for the car and even M Performance parts.... better than a markup.

I still believe something like this is negotiable to some degree. Or better said the dealer should honor the published rate in the region but there has to be some buffer there. Some great / returning customers may get even better rates through bmwfs.

I somehow ended up with 3.14 for 72 when I got the x4 in October.

The published rate at the time was 2.99 for 60. I expected 3.99 for 72. When signing the paperwork the finance lady asked me to sign a second credit app. I said that "I expected to used last months programs that's why I filled out the credit app to lock in last month . I was told it was 2.99 for 72."

She paused and said that's right. While looking at her screen she said how about 3.14 for 72.

I said sure no problem. I don't know if I over paid or got a discount. The overall deal was great so I wasn't worried about the .15 .

I really can't confirm / know if 2.99 was actually available. That was a number quoted to me via text from a different dealer .

This is great info. So just need BMW to roll over the promotional rates for the 2020 MY's.

2017 VW GTI  [0.00]
While placing the order for my 2020 M2C this Monday my dealer quoted me 3.99 for 60 months. I pointed out that BMW USA's site clearly showed 2.99 for 60 and asked them to lock in 3.99 for 72. They did. Not exactly an amazing rate, but could be better than what other lenders can do come delivery in July.

Yeah, I think the website will be updated soon to include 2020 model cars. I'm good with 3.99 also.

So that 2.99 is for older MYs?
I got 3.99 and was told it could go down if lower rate has been promoted

As of now yeah - but i think once the MY2020 start hitting dealerships next month, the 2.99% rate will be extended to them as well. I'm aiming at a 72 month term so the 2.99% + 1% is fine by me.

I am new to this.

Is there any difference between BMW Finance Select and BMW Finance?
