The Babylon Bee nailed it perfectly with this one.

https://babylonbee.com/news/opinion-...h-makes-it-bad

Opinion: Trump Is Doing The Right Thing, But He's Doing It As Trump, Which Means It's Still Bad

It's important in politics to be consistent. That's why I'm always consistent in criticizing Trump no matter what he does.

I'll criticize Trump for not doing what I want. And then when he does what I said I wanted, I'll still criticize him. Some smaller minds might call this hypocrisy, but there is no hypocrisy, because I'm sticking to the core principle that Trump is dumb and bad. Even when Trump does exactly what I want, he's still doing it as Trump, which makes whatever it is now stupid and wrong.

For instance, the other week I railed against Trump for not visiting the troops at Christmas. And when I learned that he secretly went over to visit the troops, I criticized him for how unhelpful his visit was. That's because he didn't just visit the troops as president—he visited them as President Trump. Furthermore, he started pulling troops out of the Middle East—something I've been demanding forever—but he's doing it in a Trump way, and now it seems like the most wrong thing ever.

It's like that time he visited a farmer's market, and one farmer gave him two apples and then another gave him two more apples and Trump said "I now have four apples!" And I made fun of him for adding two plus two and getting four. Yes, mathematically that seemed right before, but out of his mouth it just sounded like something only a racist moron would believe.

It's clear that Trump can't do anything right because he will stubbornly insist on being Trump while doing it. That's why he must resign—though I will then criticize him for abandoning the country in our time of need.

“The never ending wars just got more never ending.”

And this member doesn’t even comprehend the paradox of what he typed.

Maybe already mentioned - talking about hitting Iran's cultural sites is a big miss. Hopefully a bluff or a not well thought out threat. This is a good way of turning the Iranians who don't like their regime to seeing the US as a greater evil. I'm convinced the destruction of Iraqi cultural sites contributed to the mess there.

I agree with this, he could have just mentioned important military sites. There was no reason to threaten cultural sites.

I'm not sure I disagree the cultural sites comment was a miss. It distracted from the message. As long as it's only rhetoric, I see this detail an ancillary and relatively unimportant issue.

What I can't help be reminded of is the first time I learned about the Taliban in Afghanistan (before 9/11) when they were destroying ancient sculptures.

The Taliban isn't the US and they haven't signed the 1954 Hague Cultural Property Convention.

Do you want to be along the same lines as the Taliban, ISIS, and Nazis when it comes to this.

I guess you're so used to being in disagreement with me that you missed I was somewhat supporting the position you support. Take a breather.

He's just not a good human being and his gut always goes to lowest denominator.

That's why republicans love him. He is a reflection of them.

If war comes I can guarantee you there will be many war crimes happening. Yes save this post if mine. I stand by it. You see who trump pardoned the other week even his fellow soldiers said he was a scary dude.

A lot of war crimes will happen and republicans will support it because it will help end the war sooner they will say.

Quote me save this. You'll see. These are just not decent ppl

The sad thing is this destructive behavior among Democrats/liberals is so prevalent that it goes all the way down to the grass roots. A perfect example is these jerkoffs think nothing of destroying Christian religious displays (like nativity displays) or even physically attacking fellow-Democrat Jews. They somehow feel justified about it too!

You guys really need to lighten up with the generalities, in my opinion. It doesn't come down to political parties and there are many moderates in the overall political spectrum. This is why a president has to try to be a uniter as its to our overall, and his benefit.
Think moderation.
