Windshield question

Hi All,

2020 M2C. I am looking at my 3rd windshield in 1 year. Is this unusual? It happens with 'spirited' driving!

I suspect that the windshield is a stressed member, so if the car is cornering hard, any little scratch on the glass will result in a broken windshield.

I got my first crack this past HPDE weekend, but I also noticed a very minor chip about 2" from the edge.
