I also love the way they look. I believe DetailersDomain tried these first. This is his car. It looks like the wheels poke slightly in the front, even though his car was slammed in this picture. This is his thread about his OG M2 (which has slightly more clearance than the M2C).
BBS themselves call this "tuner" fitment, which is to say: the wheels might fit, but you may need to add neg camber, stretch the factory tires or use shorter ones that throw off the speedo, and avoid putting too many people or things in the car. Finally there's the Catch-22 that it will look like a 4x4 until lowered, but lowering it increases the chance of rubbing. So, BBS FI-R definitely don't "fit perfect."

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a fan of the FI-R fitment on stock tires, I'm just saying it's not terrible. It's 265/30 / 285/30 on 9.5 / 10.5 all the way for me, but I'm choosing Indy's, not Michelin's. |

Nah, just a restructuring I'm reading. The whole reason they are worth so much is that they don't let people get deals. Although, if you know who to talk to you can get a set of FI-R's for $7K, not the retail of $8400. |

You know I'm not a businessman. . . so, in Germany, is that how a company restructures? They have government (tax payer) bail them out and then they just continue on with business? ///AVM |

I've done photography deals with many big companies, but BBS won't even blink their eyes at that stuff. Maybe they should start... |

BBS F-R's call the way. My set is sitting here waiting for the car to get built! I also have the M-Performance HAS suspension waiting.

Forgive me for saying so, but you bought FI-R's and HAS? Bro, please, do your car justice, KW V3 or don't bother, those springs are going to kill your stock suspension, and ride.

M2C coil-over suspension kit was developed by KW. Not much stock is left, it replaces shocks and struts (along with springs).

Not so sir, they have the same adjustability at the KW v3s. Not only can you adjust height, you can adjust rebound and compression on the BMW kit.
"BMW M Performance is offering a fully height adjustable coil-over suspension system with independent bump and rebound adjustments. With spring-rates that are approximately 40% stiffer than stock...." |

They are very similar in price AVM but I think the MP kit is a hair more expensive at retail price.

The APEX I love since I run EC7 on my 135i, but it was a no go when I saw the weight of the M2C specific fitment. I actually bought a set of 437M for track duty before considering EC7 because of the weight savings.
