I remember the first time I saw a Laguna Seca blue E46 M3, in a pharmacy parking lot, I did a double take asking my friends "What's that!?" I was younger then and wasn't into BMWs yet but the color make the vehicle look like something outside of this world. I suspect that this Misano blue, with a black carbon roof will have the same effect on the plebeians |

Who has said they are trading their m2c for m2cs? There's no significant upgrade. Most the people that went from M2 to M2C did it for a major engine upgrade.

The S55 could make 500 hp with a tune in 2014 with the original F80 M3. |

I am much more looking forward to the new architecture instead. Hoping that they will actually build in some weight saving measures from the ground up and use the S58 from the start this time. The only thing I am surprised about is the availability of a manual. Awesome for those who are interested in this car. |

It could just be the "f*ck it" attitude.

Must say that is correct, it does seem to wear better thinking about it! I just can't stop looking at it and wishing it looked a bit more premium, since it is an M car at the end of the day.

I’ve heard from a few m2c owners already that they’re tempted. Enough upgrades to cause pen0r envy clearly!

The few things (list below) that jump out to an M2C owner as myself are having certain things done from the factory rather than having to do it on our own. If the MSRP of the M2CS justifies this time and cost, a case could be made for an M2C owner to trade in for the M2CS.
- 6MT (biggest surprise for me) - Carbon Fiber Roof standard - Carbon Fiber Hood painted standard (from some spy shots it seems this way) - +35 hp from Factory - CCBs option from Factory - New Black/Alcantara interior (the CS range, IMO, have some of the best looking interiors amongst M models, and if this any direction to follow, it would suit the M2 cabin well) |

If this car comes at below $80K, I would seriously consider it as a replacement to my M2C. At that price point, CS makes perfect sense in terms of having all those CF goodies (hood, roof), wheels and retaining the factory warranty with no need for a tune. It'd be just cheaper to buy a CS then trying to build your own. Has nothing to do with penis envy sorry. If the price is anywhere near $90K, I wouldn't even bother.

The CCB is really an overkill for the CS considering what comes stock on the M2C but they look so dominant; like something they would use to stop an aircraft..
Depending how vain you are or how much disposable income you have to play with, I believe they're worth the price of admission |
