Autobild has measured 10.5s in 100-200km/h, not a good time for 440hp It's the same time of the less powered (on paper) RS3 with the heavy 4wd, the M4 is 1 second faster.

The car is detuned to hell. Sad but true.

I can't see how the M2C would be 1s slower than the M4 over 100-200km/h since they have nearly identical power (and similar weight) as per from the dyno chart

Actually, I could see M2C 0-60mph not being quicker than M2 when tested. Looking at the small torque advantage of the M2 down low. But up top, 0-100mph and 0-130mph being in favor of the M2C. M2C will have a higher trap speed in 1/4 mile. |

What will be interesting...how US spec non-particulate filter cars stack up against Euro spec particulate filter cars. Is there a performance difference? Using a Vbox? |

I am not totally convince of the 20whp delta applies in the real world because the dyno run on the M4 by EAS was on a different day and on a different car with different set of wheels and tires. Those runs were also done with 91 octane and the full potential of the M2C S55 was not realised. G Power's dyno run did not show such a delta exist. Hopefully more dyno runs with 93 will start appearing to shine light on this subject. Last edited by Karmic Man; 10-02-2018 at 04:21 AM.. |

I don’t think it’s enough, to be honest. Similar boost increase only nets the ZCP 20hp on the M4. Seeing that the Z4 M40i is down nearly 50hp from US spec due to one OPF.

Doesn't BMW calculate their HP/Torq by wheel and not crank? I could have swear I read that some where unless I am mistaken.

Temperatures and drivetrain loss would be good to know.
As far as i know, powerloss is getting calculated on Superflow-dynos and actually not measured each run |
