When you say "V2 ARC-8s" will fit the blue OG brakes in 18x9.5 ET22, are you referencing the ARC-8 or the ARC-8R? I'd loved to get ARC-8s, but hoping to not have to go the pricier forged route.

I don't see the ARC-8 18x9.5 ET22 listed as an option for square setups here:

But looking at the ARC-8 18x9.5 ET22 product page, it looks like it might work?

Anytime I say V2 or V1, it's always referencing the ARC-8 (flow formed). ARC-8R Forged wheels cleared the F8X brakes without issues and only had one version. The flow formed wheel you linked will clear the OG M2 steel brakes and is the V2.

There are a few reasons why we don't list them on the fitment guide. Initially we had both versions of the flow formed wheel in stock so we wanted to avoid selling the old units to the wrong chassis. This was fixed by the page you linked above with V2 or "F8X" specific SKUs.
Second, the ET22 offset isn't really ideal for the M2 chassis in most cases. Cars running additional negative camber can make it work, but it's a bit too low of an offset to comfortably run wide tires especially when run square.

The 2 times I can see the 18x9.5 ET22 ARC-8s being a good choice on the M2 are when: you're running suspension that limits inner clearance up front and don't want to run a spacer. Then the wheels can work, but you can potentially compromise rear fitment if you're running them square. The second scenario would be a fitment like the one shown above with the 11" rear wheel but at that point, I would just run the 10" fronts like the blue car did.

The vast majority of our customers would be better served with the 18x9.5 ET28 wheels available in our other designs with front spacers if they are running suspension that limits the inner clearances. The guides aren't meant to list every possible wheel that could fit on the M2, but rather the best options. I may go back and tweak some of the fitments to better represent the ARC-8s but their brake clearance alone doesn't mean they automatically have a place on the guides.

I hope that makes sense. This is also motivating me to push for an 18x9.5 ET28 ARC-8

Thanks! That's very helpful. I love the ARC-8 look, but sounds like it's probably not a good functional choice for me right now with the sizes available unless I want to go up in price to the ARC-8R 18x9.5" ET28...and it looks like stock is pretty low on those anyway.

I'm leaning towards the EC-7 18x9.5" ET35 option for now, which is listed on the M2 fitment guide. You recommended 18x9.5" ET28 above, but I don't see the Ec-7 in that size in the guide. So would the ET35 be a bad choice?

Not an M2, but M2 fitment.

19x9 ET30 & 19x10 ET40 (245/35 & 265/35)

Great info, thanks Tom.

I'd really like ARC-8 for my F87 M2C in 18", but unfortunately the 18x11 rears aren't listed in Bronze which I want for my Black M2. Is there a specific reason why the 18x11 ET44 isnt done in Bronze?

I have M-Performance Coilovers and -3 F and -2 Rear Camber, so expect I may need to consider a revised fitment for front clearance.

Yes, in general Bronze is only added to our best-selling fitments. The other wheels (18x9.5 ET22 and 18x10 ET25 for example) are versatile wheels that work on a number of different chassis and sell at a much higher rate than the 18x11 ET44s. This difference in sales numbers means we can justify bringing more colors to these fitments without risking massive delays in production and fulfillment caused by producing more unique SKUs. 18x11 ET44 on the other hand is a niche rear-only fitment for select f8x M cars so we limit the number of finishes similar to other lower volume ARC-8s in the lineup.

A car like yours with significant negative camber up front will be able to run the 18x9.5 ET22 up front more easily as the camber helps tuck the upper edge of the front wheel in more as long as its gained via camber plates.

Thanks again. So with my suspension (M-Performance/KW2), which I will assume does compromise front fitment a little, and camber plates, Im going to go for the following:

18x10 ET25
18x11 ET44

and have to "make do" with Anthracite and give up the dream of bronze I can’t find any m2 fitment in Bronze in 18” at all, not sure there is a 19” either?

I am not sure running 9.5 front and 11 is an option anyway as all staggered setups seem to have a 1 inch jump.

Yes, the M Performance setup does limit inner clearance from what we've seen. In your case, I'd actually recommend the 18x9.5 ET22s as they'll give you 9.4mm of additional room on the inner edge for your coilovers compared to the 18x10 ET25s. it's fine to have larger than a 1" stagger between the front and rear and this is quite a common setup for our F8X M3/4 customers that works well on the street.

Hi there,

The Forged ARC-8R and EC-7R wheels are a part of our "classic Forged" line and have since been discontinued from production to make way for our new "sprint" line forged wheels. That said, once our remaining inventory for the ARC-8R/EC-7R sells out, we will be removing them from the website. No plans to put those wheels back into production moving forward.

Please let me know if you have any other questions!

Owning a stock M2 LCI I’ m wondering if I can put this EC7 configuration as a direct fit:

19x9 et 30 ( sure it is on)
19x10 et25 : will those fit direct?

The front wheel will be an easy direct fit, but the 19x10 ET25 rear wheel is too low of an offset to comfortably fit on the rear of an M2. If you are looking for a fitment that closely mirrors the factory wheel sizes, I would recommend our 19x9 ET30 paired with our 19x10 ET40 in our forged VS-5RS Design:

I have a set of TE SL’s 18x10 ET25 squared can’t decide if I want to run a 265 or 275/35/18. Any m2c owners know if I’ll rub with a 275 upfront

I'm excited to reveal them but your EC-7RS look fantastic. Mind if we share these photos on our socials/site? We're happy to credit your IG or other links as needed.

Any chance there's a GB on the horizon with the release of the new design?
