Hard to tell looking purely at tw - the 240s have better dry grip than the 180s. Many super 200tw tires have better grip than 100tw R Comp tires these days too. Typically though for wet grip the tread pattern matters the most, of which PS4S has a much more focused tread pattern for siphoning water out

Agreed but from what I've read the cup2 connect are better than the reg cup2 in the wet.

I'll report this summer when I get mine as I've driven a GT3 with 180TW cup 2s in the rain and let me tell you, scary doesn't even come close to describing the experience...lol

Yeah it’s definitely not optimal in the wet, however, I’ve found them to be most sketchy in wet + cold or just cold by itself. You can still drive on them in either of those conditions but it’ll take a concerted effort to control your right foot lol. Sub 40 degrees is where I just wouldn’t even chance a drive.
