BBS FI-R Tire sizes
What are recommended tire sizes for 19" FI-R's on a M2 Comp ? Car will be lowered with H&R or Eibach springs. Wondering if 255/275's will rub or not. Any input is appreciated.

I have that setup on my M2C on a set of Forgeline wheels (same specs as FI-R), lowered ~1/2” on Nitron coilovers and it works just fine. I don’t know how much the Eibach setup lowers it, but I have tons of clearance with my alignment setup (-3 front, -2 rear).

And that's the problem with the FI-R...the offset isn't optimal, causing rubbing when adding the proper sized tires for the wheel when lowered. |

That's my only concern in going with FI-R's on the M2, is the aggressive offsets that somewhat limit wider tires. The setups I have seen, most are running stock tire sizes in the FI-R's to avoid rubbing.

Have to also keep in mind that you need enough offset to keep the clearance for the front coilovers. Supposedly CMS ran this same offset with a 295/265 setup. |

I'm running 255/275 on my 19" FI-Rs, as well.
There aren't any issues with camber -2.5°f and -1.5°r. Up to now, I had Michelin PSS & PSC2 but also Contis SC6. Car is lowered on KW CS 3-way. |

The Conti SC6 is similar to the new Michelin PS4S.
The wet performance is ways better than the Michelin PSS with an - at least - identical performance in dry conditions. |

My issue with Conti has always been when they start to wear, that's when you separate the men from the boys. How many miles do you have on yours? |
