Same.

I planned track events around end of July delivery.

This is not great.
I did as well.

Current RE71s are at the very end of their life. I wouldn't make it through another event. And I have an event I've signed up for at the end of the month. I sure didn't want to have to buy another set for that event and then have to buy the set for the new wheels. Huge bummer.

These tires can work but is not ideal as the wheels will not offer the proper sidewall support required for wheels this wide. You will experience some extreme sidewall deflection under hard cornering, which will result in undesired tire wear.

While we don't have any real photos yet to share, there will be an overflow of images when orders begin fulfillment!

Some variables out of our control have caused a short production delay and pushed our shipping date into mid to late August for all Group Buy orders. We are working around the clock to ensure these wheels are completed as soon as possible and we appreciate everyone’s patience in this matter.

While shipping times have to be pushed back, we can assure you that the finished product will be worth the wait!

Thanks max, I purchased after the group buy but about a month ago. Can I expect an August delivery as well?

I am not seeing any 19" BMW wheels available for preorder. I am very interested in buying a set for the M2C.

I think you might be confusing our 19" EC-7 flow formed wheels for the M2C with the brand new forged line of wheels (ARC-8R & EC-7R) we introduced yesterday

You can learn more about the 19" EC-7 flow formed wheels in the OP of this thread, and on our website where they are currently available for preorder. LINK

In regards to the new forged ARC-8R and EC-7R wheels, you can learn more by visiting our site here. You will notice in the fitment table we have plans to produce the same 19" wheel specifications for the M2C, however, they are not in the first phase of production. The pre-sale for the 19" forged wheels will go live in Q4.

At the end of the day, M2 and M2C owners will have both flow formed and forged wheel options from APEX, which ensures we are able to meet everyone's performance and budgetary needs.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Nice to see you're going to have a 10x19 ET33 available in the EC-7R. That just meets the SCCA street class requirements for the rear on the M2C, and with the 9x19 ET30 results in class legal wheel set. I'm not sure about rear clearance though for those wishing to run crazy wide tires out back (i.e. the RE71R in 305/30-19); hopefully the 285/35 will fit ok at that offset.

Right, we have received a lot of feedback from M2 and M2C owners participating in SCCA street class, so we are excited to have 18" and 19" staggered fitment solutions that are within 7mm of the stock offsets.

The 19x10" ET33 out back will accommodate a 285 compound nicely. The 305 will be pinched, and although I typically advise against running that wide of a compound on a 10" wheel, I understand the class limitations on wheel width is the reasoning for going this route. Not all 305's are created equal, but you should be able to accommodate them with a healthy amount of negative camber (and possibly light fender rolling).

Can someone advise the best offsets for a flush fitment on the M2 competition.

Will be using 255/277 with 35 profile PS4S.

The applicable RE-71R sizes would be 255/35-19 front / 275/35-19 rear, which are also a common tire upgrade for M2 enthusiasts running the stock wheels. Although these tire sizes on paper are a little slimmer than we would like for our M2 specific 9.5"/10.5" wheels, the fact is the RE-71R's run wider than most street tires, so they would actually mate up to our M2 specific wheels quite well. The wider wheel is only going to support the sidewalls that much better.

My thoughts were to either run
275or 265/30r19 Ad08-r front 295/30r19 rears
or
265/35/19 f 285/35r19 re-71r
but the 255/275 obviously be safer bet on stock height
Waiting til next spring hopefully some guinea pigs share there experiences

Wheels arrived. I test fitted them today.

9.5/10.5 with 265/295 r888r.

Suspension is m performance coilovers (not the recommended BMW heights because they're corner balanced), modified tckline camber plates. -3.2 degrees negative front camber.

The front tires touch the adjustable spring collar on the struts.

I have 12mm Apex spacers, and used those and now there's no rubbing. Hopefully will be enough to compensate for tire deflection on track. With the negative camber it doesn't look like the tires will rub the fenders under suspension compression.

Rears are close to fender edge but don't look like they'll rub the fenders under suspension compression. I tried 5mm spacers on the rear for fun, but the tires stick out beyond the fenders.

That’s concerning. I’m assuming the stock suspension provides more clearance for the front tires... This was all advertised as perfect fitment.

Correct me if I am wrong, wheels out of the box have issues with fitment??

M performance coils are made by kw, and yes they're wider than stock. On the 18" EC7s at ET35 I was rubbing on my kw's with 5mm spacers, was really hoping ET28 would be perfect...

Thank you for your post, do you have any pictures to share? I just wanted a bit more information here if possible. What is the tire size up front that you are currently running on the car?

This 19x9.5 ET28 and 19x10.5 ET45 fitment is offered as a recommended fitment for the M2C. With the proper tire sizes, this is a great fit on cars fitted with the OEM suspension and many aftermarket suspensions that do not limit inner clearance more than OEM.

We do know that the M performance adjustable collars (manufactured by KW) are a bit bulkier than the OEM suspension up front and can cause clearance issues. For KW and the very similar M Performance suspension systems, we do recommend a small 5mm spacer up front to aid in clearance. As these systems do limit inner clearance on the F87 application.

We generally do not recommend a 12mm spacer on the 19x9.5" ET28 wheel up front as this is very aggressive and can cause issues with fender clearance. I believe that your current camber setting are aiding in clearance here, which makes the 12mm spacer up front possible. Did you have a chance to try the 5mm spacer up front for clearance?

We do know that the 19x10.5 ET45 with the 285/30-19 in the rear is a direct fit, per our fitment testing. So I am glad to hear that your fitment test confirms this, especially the bit about the 5mm test for fun!
