It took me a second to find that screen but yes, there are OEM settings that I can apply.

Cold Start is Delete on all STG2 maps by Default (You can change this in Map Config via Cat Heating)

Burbles are OTS you can change to OEM

I'm slowly getting familiar with the user interface of BM3.

So I changed all that and flashed but my butt dyno tells me it doesn't feel as smooth and powerful as the first flash which I didn't customize. So I downloaded the same map and reflashed. Butt dyno tells me the map that I dont touch is better. Is this just me?

It doesn’t affect the N55 M2. Its only the new M2C and only latest software.

Hello. I am arriving a bit late to the game, however I have a few question I'd like someone to help me answer since I just bought a BM3 license and am preparing everything to flash.
These are regarding the ISTEP versions and BM3 ability to stock map.

Does BM3 create a backup of your stock map ? Or it has a generic map which applies to all N55 M2 ?

Does BM3 only touch the Engine and transmission ECU?

I was thinking about asking the dealer to update the car in the next oil change.
However I'm trying to understand if I can go back to the previous (BM3) backup, and even if it would allow me to backup a 2nd version after update.

I have the same question.. I can only find one TMAP Sensor online...

Do you know some Pre-Throttle Tmap sensor?

Thank you

I think Endeav would know for sure. As far as I can tell, only the TMAP sensor you have linked is needed when running higher than ~20psi.

Just to loop you two into the response...

Anthony1s you're correct. Leave those settings regarding the TMAP sensors as "OEM" unless you're running greater than 20 PSI and have the N20 TMAP installed.

Running more than 20 PSI on the OEM turbo and expecting it to last an extended period of time is probably not a good mix

UPDATE: Map configuration screen descriptions for all settings and values available.

This should help those using the screen for the first time get a sense of what the values are if or when they may not be clear. I realize some of you will enjoy these being added right in the screen even though all of them are documented in the actively maintained bootmod3 User Manual.

I believe ECUTEK will let you toggle between different fuel maps using cruise control (I think?) buttons. You can have 3 or 4 fuel maps loaded and toggle between them on the fly without reflashing.

Yup that's correct, however I'm probably going with the mhd route.

I use mhd as well and switch between but bm3 just feels better with ots maps. Plus I like the iphone app and use it on my macbook air.
