Same here..big fan of SMB and possibly my favorite color as well. Would love to have seen the upcoming M2 iterations in SMB.

Still using these 2015 renders by Paul-Bracq-BMW as color reference for a rough idea of how the M2 could wear HS:

What I find interesting... it appears that the lower bumper has notches!! How would this guy know/think about putting those there?!

Conspiracy theory!

The vision gran turismo and csl concept both had them so guess he incorporated them into these.

I think that is just a shadow reflection from the honeycomb grill and not an intentional design feature.

+3, same here. The change feels arbitrary. I don't want to catch eyeballs. To me, Mineral Grey looked tastefully conservative and restrained, yet the car is actually an animal - exactly what I'm after. Black looks like I'm *trying* to disappear, which winds up standing out more.

Has there been any progress on the air vents behind the front wheels being open and functional rather than cosmetic?

My M4 is grey and a great "stealthy" color on a sports car. I would love to see that grey color on an M2 but I suppose that won't happen. A person will definitely catch eyeballs with that new orange color they are coming out with. In my opinion it looks "high school".

No Mineral Grey for the M2 Competition.

If you want an MG M2, you gotta get the current one.

But from time to time you can make it look a little Hockenheim Silver-ish.

The only hope left for a gray is if they offer individual colors. And that's a pretty big "IF".

Yes I realize I could have grey with the 2018 but it has the N55 which does not interest me at all. The only reason that I am getting rid of my M4 is due to the S55 engine on the 2019 model year. That engine on the M2 Competition cinched the deal for me. I know how quick the S55 engine, with its dual turbochargers, can be when Dinan tuned to Stage 3 as shown by my M4. I also prefer the smaller size and agility of the M2.

I've decided to order the Black Sapphire Metallic. I know I'm jumping the gun but I've already purchased Eibach lowering springs and wheel spacers for the new car that I have not even ordered yet.

Back in 2015 I asked Paul-Bracq-BMW the following about his renders:

So he made several renders featuring also the intake slats on the lower part of the front end (2015):

Taiga Green (+ 359M wheels):

Avus Metallic Blue (+ 359M wheels):

These color choices have me worried!
I was dead set on mineral grey! (I know the 2018 has grey) Sorry for the Negative Nancy rant about to ensue.
I dislike the green hues in the LBB.
I have been told by 3 women in my life that if I get white, it looks like I'm trying too hard.
I don't care for the M2 in black.
Sunset orange may be too "brownish red" for me( I would take a brighter orange)
H.Silver is my last hope, as long as it is a darker shade of silver, I may be interested.
If these colors turn out the way I think they may, will give someone my Number 1 and/or number 3 spot at 2 different dealerships.
Again, sorry for the negativity, but may just stick with GT3 and find a different daily

Sunset Orange looks high school? It’s a sporty car, not a Merc sedan for retirees. Sporty cars are supposed to have more eye catching colours.

In fact I yearn for the e92 Fire Orange to be a special option on this car

It would cost you between $750 and $1,000 in an enclosed car carrier, based on my personal experience.
