I can confirm that the turn signal blink option is not found on my 2018 M2 LCI.

I changed mine, but it may have been within iDrive/. Will try to look tomorrow

Finally coded out ASD

Jesus christ what a massive difference

It went from obnoxious artificial boy racer engine sounds to peace and quiet, perhaps too quiet though but at least now I can listen to music

If I remember correctly, it only allows 1 or 3. I've been wanting to change mine to 4 or 5 as well like others in the thread, but if memory serves, the only options within iDrive is 1 or 3.

I have a '17 M2 and coded the indicator change under FEM last week. Pre-LCI however....

I like it. seems like all of this stuff made the car a lot safer overall

On the '18, the only iDrive choice is 1 or 3.

I can confirm it's a choice between 1 and 3 from the iDrive menu (MY17). It is the same way on my '09 135i.

Don't understand the limitation when the coding exists for more options.

Hmm. BMW, why would someone only want it blink once?

Well it will behave like cars that don't have this feature. It'll flash as long as you hold the stock 1/2 way. Quick tap will do a single blink (instead of 3)

Mine is a 2017 built in July 2016 and I was able to code this option. My friends M2 is also a 2017 but built around June 2017 and I cannot code it on his. So it?s specific build dates that are lacking the indicator coding option.

Mines a week 5 build (2017) delivered in May. I can’t code the blinks.

Sup Ban! So random I saw you on a FB comment one day.

To add to your post. Mine was a November 2016 build 2017 model. We may be right before the cusp it seems ? This was one of my favorite adds- never been a BMW owned before and wasn’t a fan of 3 blinks on the quick pull . 5 is perfect for DMV traffic lol

I know, I remember hahaha love the plate man!

Well I really think 3 is too few and 6 is too much!!

On my 135i I need to code it to more so I don?t get flagged as being one of those guys that doesn?t use blinkers! I

I have them coded with 100% angel eyes when low beams are on at night as well but the have a minor concern it may get too hot when low beams are on. But even if it shortens the life of the bulbs it's still worth the looks.

Is this found in the advanced section? Sorry if it's been mentioned already. Really want to try this. Thanks in advance.

To modify, locate the two, unmarked buttons to the left side on stock switch. You want to remove the bottom one. Removal is a snap, wrap the tip of a knife (regular table knife) with painters tape. Simply insert gently the knife into the side of the lower button and with slight pressure it should pop out easily, doesn't need to be forced.
Once out, you will see three tabs, they are very small, two on one side one on the other. With an Xacto knife or razor remove each tab. Once each tab is off, reinstall button. The removal of the tabs allows this button to turn the fog lights on and off.
Once coded, the rear fog lights will turn on, and the rear fog light icon will appear on the dash when the button is switched.
The only difference between a Euro switch and the one you modify is the modified button will not be labeled. For the codes, do a search here under the M4 forums for enabling rear fog lights. There is a great thread with photos showing the above modification.
The coding will be done in expert mode, the first step is done in the front electrical moduale, this enables the dash icon. The second steps are done in the rear electrical moduale, again in expert mode. Remember to code the FEM before doing the second steps in REM which is coded separately. Voila, Euro rear fog lights. Very cool mod!
Do you have the specific changes that need to be made in EXPERT MODE to get the fogs to work? Thanks.

Sorry if this has been addressed, but 55 pages is hard to get through.
I seemingly successfully coded a few modules, including the front module. When the coding finished, the car shut off, and I turned it back on. All was good. One of the things I coded was the mirror folding upon comfort access, but it did not fold in or out when I locked/unlocked the car. The radio also didn't automatically shut off after I opened the door.

Not sure how to confirm or to ensure that these were successfully coded other than the notification in the app. Any idea?

The mirror question I already answered in pg 51 in detail (pg number using the phone app). Make sure the time is set to zero seconds otherwise you have to hold the handle/lock button for as long as it?s set to.

Radio I never did because I always lock my car and that shuts it off.

Yes but it is easy. I followed this thread to make the change (note F87 was a little different, but you'll be able to locate the actual codes easily):

http://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=877278

FEM_BODY / 3060 LCEMaster 1C / NSL_Verbaut = Verbaut
