Can I just buy the parts and get the button coded so I can turn the sensors off, and not do the front sensors?
I assume that's an option?

yes, you can buy the controller, retrofit the Comfort - Sport button from the old one and plug in. No coding required.

Thank you for that. Sorry I have another question, would you happen to know what the part number is for the right hand drive cars? I've tried searching on realoem but couldn't seem to find it for my car.

In realoem.com it looks as if the part that you listed comes w/the trim. Is that correct?

Have you already searched for a set of buttons that have the off, sport, comfort and pdc? Or do we have to retrofit the existing button?

I had just wanted to confirm that wasn't another part number w/Sport, Comfort and PDC and that we "had to" retrofit the Comfort button.

Thanks!

Genius!!! Thank you and you mentioned with the new sensor button, it's just plug and play no coding required? The entire unit plugs in and that's it?!

Just to confirm everything again:

- Purchase the following Operating unit, center console with part number 61319252912 (this operating unit comes with ECO PRO - SPORT button)
- take out the existing Operating unit and retrofit the COMFORT - SPORT button to the new op. unit.
- connect the new Operating unit, no coding required.

PDC sensors (for front) have arrived today. They were painted to LBB by BMW.

The mounts for the sensors to be used for front sensors are actually M2 mounts for rear sensors (51118063196).

We are waiting for a tool, which will cut out the proper holes in the front bumper.

I am more tempted to do this than I'd like to admit....how much did a second bumper set you back?

This is an awesome how-to! thanks for sharing...
looking forward to see how it's working and how much the complete retrofitting finally costs.

Didn't think this was necessary until while I'm parking today, parked too close to rear car and the beeping goes on and on... Friend dropped by while I'm installing aluminum intake piping and intake to install this parking switch and I automatically asked him immediately to order for me, thx for the info...
