Engine: Felt like the turbo is missing. It revs like a normal aspirated engine, very smooth, always wanting to go to the high rpms. You see me in the video sometimes shift down in the corner, that's because with a turbo engine you try to use all the torque when you exit the corner. But in the M2 it felt better to stay in the high rpms. Chassis: Like every other BMW also this one is nicely balanced. Stable under braking, little understeer in entry, relaxed in the corner, oversteer in the exit. So that is perfect. It amazed me how quick I could go back on the throttle in every corner without having to much oversteer. You feel a lot what's going on, in the steering wheel you almost feel nothing. But the chassis gives you a good feedback what's going on with car. Pros: Good chassis, easy to drive for everyone. Gives you a lot of confidence. The engine is absolutely amazing, you have the pros of a turbo engine but the feeling of a N/A. Standard brakes are really good for the first 5 minutes. Change to steel brake lines and it will be fine. Cons: Don't like the steering wheel, too light and no feedback. Sometimes there is a delay in the throttle response. Gear ratios are not perfect for track use. I hope this will do

Even in slower corners or just going to the store , the precise feedback and also the way the wheel unwinds naturally due to caster is just wonderful all over again. |

Thanks!
Really enjoyed that footage. We have a very hot climate here till the winter months so brake fade can be a real frustration.
I am getting mine with track pads and plan to try it on the track soon. It would be interesting to hear from you if you did the same run in the future with the track pads. |

Just install steel brake lines for €100 and the stock brakes are more than good enough

Very cool! Antoniusbuche has to be terrifying in a production car. All that speed, and you're basically at the limit of the damper's ability to control body movement.
