The M technical program manager outright laughed when I brought up the m240i. It's a different car with different purposes for different customers.

-I was talking about the mountain roads earlier keeping up can be nuts!...not the at the track as we were split into groups beginner, ntermediate and expert....my advice there is leave your ego behind and go to the group you fit in, you'll get more out of it...and if you are slower and you go into a higher group it affects the group. But I have to say, driving the M2 on the track and hanging with them, it is a very special car and more than the sum of it's parts...you can't compare it to the M235....and I'm sure not comparable to M240...its a whole different ethos. In fact on my way back from the trip after reflecting on the experience and sitting with Seagull at our last dinner in Monaco, I texted my sales Manager to find out if I could snag an M2 build spot before winter at my dealership...but as you would expect all you guys snapped 'em up! It was worth a shot!

Wow from someone who owns a GTS, that's very high praise for the M2. I guess it's usability and it's prowess are great points in its favour!

hey Seagull and other Tour #1 participants, i am just wondering if you have received your cars yet? you guys are pretty much 2 weeks ahead of us in tour 2 so that gives me a better idea as to when i will get mine, also do you know how long it took to get to toronto after it arrived at the port in halifax? i wonder if they used a truck or train

Depending on where you live it's is flatbed truck or train. It seems that if you are west of Ontario it is train. Note that some people got their cars this past week - both Ontario, Quebec and BC.

An M2 was received at BMW Laval from Euro Tour #1 last week
