Were you just unsatisfied with the M4 and it's inherent design or was it something completely unrelated? Interested in your feedback.
Nope it's a great car. I got scammed by a member here but I'm not going there.

I thought the M4/4 was too big though.

I think Messing Metallic would be really interesting on this one, especially under direct sunlight.

Im sure there will be a handful of individual colored orders. We already saw that with the 1M

What's next: the right lower gauge is missing a nipple = design fail ?

OK, looking at the instrument cluster will never be the same again.

do we really need a 24 hour clock setup for displaying the current time? if you cant tell its 2AM or 2PM then you should not be driving
^ my attempt at trying to complain

Bad idea unless you can't afford it. F80 kicks the M2's butt in every way.

Technically that is not a nipple
This reset button does look nice.

Yeah, just my personal preference. Not that I am in the market for a new car.

Except it may (likely) be more fun to drive.

its not all about power. the 7-8" shorter wheel base will make it a lot more playful.

it won't be faster, it'll be easier to rotate. which is fun. completely depends on what you want.

drive a 228 and a 328 or something and you can tell the shorter wheelbase makes a "fun" difference

That's exactly why I am purchasing an M2. The fun to drive factor. M4 and M3 are the size of the 2001 M5. Waaay to big for me for a fun car to whip around.

If the M2 is as fast or faster than my e90 M3 than I should be a happy camper.

What does mirror design have anything to do with it being an M car?

Didn't you get the memo. Car sportiness is all about the mirrors. Mirrors add hp and lateral grip more than you ever knew

Right. Because without a little wing thingy on the mirrors, this car loses so much driving potential...

C'mon, man!

Unless you're driving it hard on a track and you're a fairly advanced driver you won't care about "rotation", or you are driving like a maniac on the street. The M3 while bigger than before still feels really agile. Driving my F80 and E90 back to back the F80 does not feel any bigger. I've also driven a friend's M235i and it feels a little smaller but not dramatically smaller like the difference between an F10 M5 and a E46 M3.

I had a F30 3er before and it was way to big for my liking. The 2er, although not much smaller, feels a lot tighter and it fits me perfectly.
