its not all about power. the 7-8" shorter wheel base will make it a lot more playful.
it won't be faster, it'll be easier to rotate. which is fun. completely depends on what you want. drive a 228 and a 328 or something and you can tell the shorter wheelbase makes a "fun" difference |

That's exactly why I am purchasing an M2. The fun to drive factor. M4 and M3 are the size of the 2001 M5. Waaay to big for me for a fun car to whip around.
If the M2 is as fast or faster than my e90 M3 than I should be a happy camper.
