Replace rear drive axles?

During an HPDE tech inspection, I was told and shown that my rear drive axles needed to potentially be replaced. When pulling the axles left to right, it was pretty tough, as if there wasn't much or any grease in them. No leaking, etc. The axles have approx. 70 track days on them. Anyone have to replace them or have any thoughts? Thanks!
