Turner Charge Pipe - N55
Does anyone running Turner Cold Side Charge Pipe (T#: 584163 | Part#: 024592tms01KT)?
I am looking to upgrade my stock charge pipe ~15,000 miles for preventative maintenance. By the way I am bone stock from M factory. Could not find any review on those charge pipe. Any thoughts? Thank you! |

I'm running bms charge pipes, really good fitment and perfect interior not a single weld sticking out.
Here's my review: https://www.2addicts.com/forums/show...php?p=27673394 You can buy them from mike@xph or direct from bms.

Just watched my wrench install this. It fit, but barely. Silicon portion could stand to be another inch longer but he made it work.
We’ll see what long term durability looks like. I’ll swap it out for the Active Autowerke unit of I see boost leaks or other issues. I have a love hate relationship with bolt-ons. |

Anything is better than the factory charge pipe. Its just a problem on borrowed time honestly.

It may be a flawed design, but it fits without issue. Between the Turner Charge pipe seemingly an inch short and the Active Auto Downpipe creating a nasty vibration/rattle, this round of the bolt-on game has got me pretty disheartened. Fingers crossed it’s just a loose clamp and the charge pipe holds up but friendly reminder this stuff ain’t for the faint of heart. |

I would recommend ER. It may cost extra, but it’s been the most well know, and one of the oldest charge pipes on the market.

Turner rep indicated to my wrench that plenty were being installed without issue but the reality is that at least some appear to be short enough to require a lot of effort and multiple sets of hands to install.
It’s on there, and it’s not going anywhere, but it’s worth noting. |

I didn’t have any issues with my AA CP as far as rattling, although I wish they provided better hardware for the MAP sensor. The little head on the bolts provided are tiny and easily stripped. I hate hex head bolts.
Hardest part of the install was the part that installed at the throttle body was a bitch to line up but only took 1.5 hours to install that and the AA intercooler. |

I just installed my Turner
motor sports charge pipe and the silicon was way to short. I managed to get it on but it blew off this morning on its first drive. Does anyone have any advice on how they got theirs to stick? |

Did you increase boost? ECU tune etc?. I am completely stock with just TMS charge pipe. I had an Certified BMW Mechanic install professionally. No issues.. Ah mean he had hard time putting it right so needed 2 ppl 1 from bottom and 1 from the top in order to secure couplings. But rubber tube is way too short...

I have since moved onto a MAD C/P, because I was chasing down an issue that apparently wasn't boost leak related.
