black OEM exhaust tips anyone?

I'm looking for black OEM exhaust tips that can be put onto the original exhaust, does anybody know if BMW has some suitable exhaust tips?

I know there shall be black exhaust tips from the M5 competition, but they only suit the M Performance exhaust.

I also know that IND is selling some powder coated black ones, but I'd really like to have some original ones from BMW.

Does anybody have an idea?

I think if IND is buying chrome ones and powdercoating them then BMW doesn't make them. Otherwise why would IND go through the trouble, but I could be wrong.

If you like the OE tips so much, powder coat them black.
Should be an easy and inexpensive task

That being said, i would just upgrade to a more aggressive black tips like the Active Autowerke ones

I hope it was paint, but looks like PC.

Has anyone found black angled tips for the OEM exhaust?

Are they cut with an angle? I like the straight over the angel but if that what's in your pic it looks good

They fit with no modification? If so, as someone else said, that is perfect. That will complete my chrome removal.

I believe they are gloss black but not with the car right now so unable to check for sure.

Shmeld_135 they are cut at an angle, like DTM style.

Is it possible to control how far they stick out? I like the angle cut much more than the stock tip but I would like them to be tucked under the diffuser as the stock ones are.

I believe that is the final position for them, they may possibly go in a little bit more but not a lot.

Worried they would turn out like the pic above and chip and peel. Thoughts?
