I need a jb4 anyway since I plan on running meth,...The prob EVERY Tuner is having is crazy choiness in higher Revs...Im starting to think "Overboost has something to do with it... Its the one variable I can think of...But HE WILL, be the first to come up with a solution I truely believe. I will be upgrading turbo soons after but the intercooler, and QTP Exhaust valve...(Many of you will want them when you see you can get 30whp over a good aftermarket exhaust. ANd the sound...WHoa Goal: Perfectly tuned car running 26+PSI on stock long block...I think with good weather and a sub 2 sec 60ft, that should be a low 11 sec run... Obvious will require e-85. as Im going to still keep the turbo on the smaller side...much bigger than stock obviously... Racing Seats...Harness...HANS...Helmet>>>Extinguisher... and ugh a roll cage. Etowns strict... Who remembers west hampton I was running 13 sec cra there for 10 bucks with a learners permit and no helmet lol

The thread is ALIVE...
Since the cars driveable and the body shop is in Farmingdale close to Enzo its been back and fourth...God knows how much time hes spent on it, but I now have the full JB4 w ewg add on harness and flex fuel harness...Between his BEF and the JB4 for boost control and Ethanol adaptation, He made VERY signifigant gains....I dont know if I should even say that... Ill have my car back from the body shop Friday, Im driving the damn thing for the weekend and next week giving Enzo the car to install lowering springs and my 3" Exhaust cutout...AND he may have "finishing touches" on the tune Im not sure.... My prediction, and this is totally independent...with the dp, intake, and e85 it put down around 330 on a VERY conservative dyno. With exhaust open, BEF, JB4, Charge pipe, FMIC, intake, e30, and 19PSI, I genuinely belive that even on the most conservative dyno I will put down somehere near 420whp, which would be 450-460 on a dynojet and close to 500 tq maybe more. I know people will scream heresy,! "IMPOSSIBLE 450 MAX" with Meth but people do not appreciate the gains over even the best exhaust when running open DP on a turbo car...The heat evacuation, the disappearance of lag, the complete lack of resistance (backpressure) on the turbine...Ive seen the dynos...and ill repeat, my Evolution 8, that valve showed a 40AWHP gain over the Apex I exhaust I had previous.......Enzo will have the car next week and either Info@EnzoPerformance or I ill provide before and after dyno runs, if i didnt lose the before lol... But again, 1 more week for results, and then I will be attending Beast Coast Festival of speed and Atco to do some 1/4 mile runs, so I can upload some time slips as well...Ill also be at Captree Sunday morning. 60-130mph is my favorite metric personally and even now the car is def doing some solid numbers to say the least LOL...cant wait to see on paper or may buy a vbox bc i cant wait til October lol... Now with the release of his stage 3 fully stand-alone turbo setup for the 2 series N55 I have to resist caving into that...BTW WHO HAS THAT VIDEO? I saw it on here and now cant find it??? Stay tuned

My Car is complete after 2 LONG MONTHS...and will be at Enzo Performance next week for finishing touches. I also think that running with my 3" cutoff open will affect the engine enough that a special tune will benefit, so maybe that's what I'll do with map 6. Map 1 & 2 Enzo will use to raise boost and adjust fuel adaptation, ign timing, afr, ect via hardware and actually programming the DME.
But Ive gotten every performance car Ive ever had flashed or tuned and I have to say Ive never seen the kind of gains I saw from Enzos shop without really raising boost. I mean with just a down pipe I beat an M4 (albeit stock) by 300ft from 40-150mph (The videos floating around here) and beat a lightly modified M3 when I added 30% Ethanol , until my I/C got heat soaked (but I still kept up),( same video is floating around.) Best Comparison was vs a stock M2...Kid I met to sell parts...Hes on this forum and he had a passenger to be fair (his GF) but from a dig, I mean it was pretty bad, Im sure hed agree...And we ran a few times...Cars have a margin of difference with performance but this was way beyond any possible driver error or "slightly faster car"...This was my tune. Of course with my long ass posts, but I can't wait to see what happens when 6PSI and Methanol are added to the mix with FMIC and Open DP. I think Ill be done modding for a while

Enzo Performance Big Turbo Update
Well guys just thought I would share some updates. Finally got some dyno time and the results were great. 632whp and 525wtq @25psi. Which means at 29-30psi things will get serious. We noticed a bit of a skip around 28 and suspect spark, we will be digging deeper to get every bit out of her.
Again this turbo kit with the proper fueling and ignition upgrades (and engine internals) can easily produce over 700-800 at 35-40 psi. Also we are now accepting names for the N55 Big Turbo Group Buy list. We are thinking 15-20, so please get on it before it's too late. We already have 5 spots taken. |
