No, stock Ferric Grey. They look quite different in different lighting. I'm still trying to capture them perfectly.

Love the Ferric Grey 437s over the standard jet black color. I wish I had them on my 2018 M2. Did you purchase them as an option when ordering the car? As far as I know this option is not available in North America.

I bought my car used, and the wheels used as well. I searched for about 8 months for a nice set, then accidentally found that one of my Lotus buddies had a great set. They were never any option for any M2 in any country.

You really lucked out on those wheels. I always preferred lighter colored wheels because they show the intricate design of the wheel a lot better versus the current trend of dark colored wheels. I'm looking out for a set on the used market but they are pretty rare.

They are a 100% improvement in real life. I struggle to get good pictures of them because the camera likes to overexpose because the car is darker. I do all sorts of trickery, but have yet to actually capture what they look like, and it's really great. Ferric and Long Beach were meant to be.

The Jet Black, meh, the wheel gets lost, and IMO only looks good when it's stupid clean (barrel and all).

Try the M3/M4 board for a set of the Ferric's, they come up ever so often. One guy recently on this board GAVE a set away, like same price as the black ones (weirdo). Rich guys, what can you say? I paid a premium for mine, and they are worth every penny.

Dude, I love those wheels. It's the deep inset hub on the rear. I WISH they were made in larger sizes!

Thanks for the suggestion.

The brake dust drives me crazy. I wipe down the wheels after every couple of outings.

The 763s in gold look pretty good with LBB as well, even though not everyone may agree. Ridiculously expensive !

Is that a 35% tint on your windows?

I swapped to Akebono pads, one of the best things I ever did. So much less brake dust, car still stops fantastic. But I don't track my car, so consider that.

I actually don't remember the percentage of tint, but it's the middle two shades. The rear isn't limo, but lighter than that, and the sides aren't light, but darker than that. They're very close front to back. You can still see shadows in the car, which is what I wanted.

Mind me asking which Akebono pads specifically? Any PN or model? Thanks!

This is what you need. Best street pads for the M2 that exist. Too bad they don't make them for the 2NH.

+1 I also am running these since my M2 is my daily. So little dust that haven't washed my wheels in a couple months and they still look ok from a few feet away. Whereas stock pads look dirty and dark after a couple days

I've checked out YT videos on replacing brake pads for the M2 and it looks pretty straight forward.

I've never replaced brake pads but I assume the brackets on the Akebono pads are identical to the stock pads for an easy installation?

Washed it and ran some errands. Already filthy with dust though. Still ash in the air maybe?
