Need Help: My Z4 just entered production today...
...any idea how long the production to delivery time window is? As I understand it, Z4s are build in Spartansburg, SC. Any insights would be appreciated.

Production should take about a week start to finish. As far as how long it takes to ship...depends.

Z4 and X5 are built in South Carolina. It took about a month for the car to arrive at the dealership in 2007 and I got the notice last week that my Z4 was being built and they were shooting for an early March delivery, which make it also about a month.
Considering that I live in Canada and that customs paperwork slows down the delivery time I would think that you should get your car in no more than 4 weeks. |

Hi and welome!
For reference, my Z4 MC went into production on Feb. 9. Scheduled delivery in central Texas is Feb. 27. So a little over two weeks, so generally a week to make and a week to ship -> distribution center -> dealer. Hope this helps. Stay up on your client advisor to update you, ie. call often. -David

You should consider picking up your car at the Performace Center down in Spartanburg if you have the time. It's a great and memorable experience. I truly enjoyed the whole process especially the time on the track!
