That's a lot of weight savings, and toward the front where it counts. Do you recall what was the weight of the OE hood?

38 lbs https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1532218
Maybe it weights 25 lbs in total, not 25 lbs less than the oem (13 lbs), considering the M Performance carbon fiber hood is 20lbs.

Thanks. Seeing conflicting reports on OE weight. Someone stated 50lbs here: https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=26540489

Really strange. For the carbon Mperf hood, BMW claims 8-9 kg (about 19 lbs) of savings compared to the OEM, and that's carbon, aluminum should be heavier.

I have the OEM hood hung on my wall
It’s easily double the weight of the Suvneer Aluminum
Suvneer claims -25lbs and I would say that’s bang on

It’s easily -25lbs lighter then OEM.
Stock is approx 60-70lbs
It’s a heavy sucker - the shocks make it seem light but hanging the OEM hood on my wall I can tell ya - it’s heavy
