Catless Registration in CA?

Might be moving my M2 to CA and I was wondering what you catless guys are doing for registering your cars in the SoCal area... I'm definitely not gonna pass inspection lol.

on new cars, we have 6 years before we have to worry about smog. Most are just cruising along.

Oh damn - do you know if that would apply to my car as well? 2018 but it was originally purchased and registered in Texas.

If you still have family in tx keep the m2 reg. In TX,
If you reg. Here in CA you will need to smog it since its coming from Other State...

Most people take everything off.....smog....and throw everything back on. To my knowledge at least.
