The M235i was quite a bit lighter than the M2. So the M2C got the M4 chassis and engine but just shorter and narrower but the weight difference wasn't much. I would guess that the G87 won't be that much lighter than the G82...we'll see.

My guess is that the G87 will be more than 300 lbs. heavier than the F87 since the G82 is about 400 lbs. heavier than the F82.
