Hey all-

I placed an order for a 20 M2C in March, then after the factory started back up, my salespeople contacted me after they received a slot for a 2021. Order authorized and I've been at port for a few weeks (going to BALPOA, then here to NV). I haven't seen any sign that 2021's have arrived at any of the dealerships yet so I'm wondering if mine will be one of the early arrivals?

Oh yeah, I didn't have to renegotiate the price either. So that was pretty cool.

What I got:
Black/black with blue interior, sunroof
Manual
Executive package

Super excited to be getting back into a manual

Mine is on vessel in the Atlantic and due to reach Charleston in mid-August.

I'm still waiting on an update from my sales people, but just for fun I tried to find a link to search the cargo on the "Global Highway" boat that's headed for Baltimore...I'm not having any luck finding a way to search by VIN to see if I'm on that boat as well...would you happen to have a link you'd be willing to share?

K-Line does not offer that functionality. I'd suggest calling BMW Customer Relations.

Mine is supposed to arrive in Charleston on 8/13 or 8/14, but K-Line has run late in the past and appeared to be at least 1 day late leaving Southampton per MarineTraffic App. Additionally, there is still a "hold" on 2021 M2C deliveries in USA as BMW awaits final regulatory approvals. I believe that is why EPA gas mileage figures are listed as TBA on website. Emissions approval was granted by EPA a couple weeks ago per their website, so progress is being made. I'm hoping my PCD will occur in August, but Performance Center cannot schedule a date until "hold" is cleared. These are normally just routine bureaucratic items, but this is not a normal year.

Mine jumped to in transit today! Guessing its the "Orion Highway" arriving in baltimore MD on August 20th.

Edit:

Called BMW they said its on the "Grand Hero" not the ship mentioned above.

It took my 2021 about 22 days to change from At Port to “in Transit”. Spoke to my SA today and expect for the car to arrive in NJ port on August 10 which would mean it takes around 14 days from Bremerhaven to NJ. Mines on the Liberty...
