His attitude is more negative than positive, as well. I think he would have been less than fun to attend meetings with back in his IT days. I can't actually recall the last time I finished one of his videos thinking he actually really liked the car.

He's not necessarily wrong about a lot of the things he doesn't like, but I'm pretty sure he'd talk himself out of liking anything new if it could be compared with something old that he liked back when he was 22.
I notice he's generally always got a sadness about him, not sure why, but he actually had a smile on his face several times in his M2C review video.

He seems to be factually accurate most of the time, but he also states some opinions as they were fact, and that sort of speaks to youth, inexperience, or attitude to me. I still like watching most of the time.

On the other end of the spectrum you have Doug Demuro. He's way more entertaining to watch, and he also speaks the same humor/sarcasm language I picked up from reading Car and Driver for 40 years. Doug makes mistakes with details once and a while, but they are easily forgiven. You always know when he's stating opinion or fact.

spot on review of reviewers!

at this point if there is something on Youtube about the M2C I am watching, if only because I don't have mine yet and I just need a fix.

I feel that last bit quite a bit. I have watched nearly every M2C video in every language. It's almost like I have the car already..... almost....

It’s funny you resorted to other languages! I have too! I just keep cycling though all the M2C videos over and over. It’s become compulsive, I hope I will kick the habit once I have the car!

Other languages... me too!

My favorite is the one with two younger Italian fellows, driving the Black M2C with the manual transmission... just like my car, somewhere in the Atlantic!

Lots of nice exterior shots, with good sound from inside and outside the car.

And, it’s well driven, with some good power slides.

Bravo!

Funny enough, he absolutely loved the 6GT (as a lease only vehicle)

The solution? Drive it in manual mode. Probably still not as good as PDK, but still good!

We do have the same opinion, but I`d rather have the PDK, because it is flawless in both, Manual and auto mode.

You won't. I've had mine for over a week. When I'm not enjoying it myself, I'm watching other dudes enjoying it. That why it's called car porn.

He's got a lot of track experience so he was probably irritated with sport mode or whatever.

The m2c he didn't get from bmw to review, Tri industries is auctioning the car to help disabled folks and he promotes the auction. So BMW didn't provide him the car.

I don't share always agree with him, but I believe he is honest.

From what I remember it was the throttle-blipping that he didn't like. From then on he just seemed to not like the M2 overall, or wasn't that impressed with it. Not having the ability to shut off the auto rev-matching, without disabling everything seemed to really bother him.

I don't agree with some of his opinions either, but overall I like his content and he's one of my favorite car guys on Youtube. I like how takes the cars in the shop and goes over all the mechanical aspects of the car. I'm glad he reviewed the M2C because I had always wanted a full fledged review of the M2, and felt like I was robbed of that during his initial thoughts, after that track event you mentioned.

The review of the M2C was the M2 review I wanted basically because, besides the exhaust, the underbody and suspension stuff is identical. His friend in the video is the only one who seemed to really car about the engine differences (S55 Vs. modified N55) and SG said that the M2C could use a little less HP, which I found ironic.

It was a very good review overall.

Never (ever) apologize for that.
You have to tread lightly here, it's a touchy subject.

PDK may be smoother and better in certain ways, etc, but DCT is a PHENOMENAL transmission, and thus far, I am hoping to continue on it. The next gen G80 M3 will have manual or ZF automatic, so between those I likely would choose manual, but DCT has been nothing short of great for me, and certainly agree that it is one of the best transmissions out there.
Me 2 . Love my DCT .... I also drove the GT3 and that’s top notch transmission. But really love my DCT. Always had 6 speed on all my BMW’s
